My kids are adults now. How I wished I would have had such insight, wisdom and permission to give to myself.
For my daughter and daughter in love, yours is the bigger, louder, stronger and more respected voice in the room. I believe in you!
I have read this book and shared with my husband many chapters, this book is for them as well.
Paula, another beautiful, brilliant and motivating collection of real life stories, short comings and best of all, acceptance of who we really are, imperfect human beings and it is okay!
I love, love, love this book!

Such a moving, raw, emotional truth to what I have always suspected.
American churches have a very similar parallel of protecting tue institution at every level. I grew up in the church. I’m have a deep and abiding love for religious truth but not tue institution, which is run by none other than people!
I pray for peace, joy, happiness and a beautiful life with “chosen” family for your little four pack. “Spare no more” should be your next title my friend.

My eyes have been opened to the travesty, heartbreak and political corruption that transpires with our foreign partners or enemies.
I wonder how many more journalists, reports, students, religious educators are being held prisoner?
I have always loved following the hard-work, dedication and honesty of Lisa. Her
Compassion and passion are absolutely genuine.
This raw exposure to the brutality and bulling of the north Korean regime made me angry. What they did to these two American women was a disgrace. Laura, I want to hug you, celebrate your life and thank you and Lisa for being so tough. I need to go back and educate myself in international relationships and our America.
Good bless you three and your families who caught for your freedoms and for former VP Gore.
I did have to do a little follow up on your current life and my heart celebrates with your families.

Elizabeth Edwards is brilliant!

I loved this book and sadly, this was very reminiscent of my childhood in a few portions. The ending was beautiful, rich and where love and dreams finally came together.
I think Elizabeth Edwards sounds so much like Sally Fields!! She is excellent!
