The premise of the show is that Brandon regularly has to spend time signing books. So, Dan keeps him company and they have a half hour conversation about whatever interests them at the moment and record it.

It is like getting to sit in on 2 friends having a fun discussion. If tangents and very loose structure bother you then this might not be the podcast for you. 😂

I originally wanted to just listen to a specific episode that was recommended by a friend and then decided I needed to listen to this from the very beginning.

This makes perfect background material to listen to when you want to do something else and just half listen as well.

I really liked this book though it is evident that it was one of his first. The narrator though... it was a little bit rough for me after being used to Michael Kramer's wonderful narration. it would be nice to get this rerecorded.

This book was well written in that it shares plenty of information without becoming too drawn out. This is the kind of book I will probably reread and ponder for a while.

The narrator is absolutely wonderful.

As a teen I was one of the many Edward swooners. I knew that his character would be much harder to romanticize as a grown woman but dang. By the end I was having a very hard time not disliking Edward a great deal. One bright side is that Bella was a hell of a lot more interesting then she ever came across in the original books. Also, I could use much more about Edwards family who really were one of the bright spots of this book.

If you were ever a fan of the twilight books then you know you have to get this. It's as inescapable as Bella's fate. It is very interesting visiting these characters as an adult.

Kudos to the narrator for a job well done!

It is a very cute premise and much more fun to read if you are familiar with the hero trope of video games such as Legend of Zelda. It is a clever little take on the preposterous nature of those world's. That being said the characters are very flat as another reviewer said. The author doesn't really make the characters feel like people you should care about. Knowing that it was not going to be a fantastic read but something more as a throwaway if you have spare time and no other items on your wishlist to read at the moment then this book will suffice.

First of all, how can you go wrong with Jeremy Irons!? He is fantastic and this story is amazing. I will definitely be buying a hard copy for myself!
