In Kingdom Woman, Tony Evans and his daughter, Chrystal Evans Hurst, remind women of their calling from God to be free, delivered, healed, and hopeful. The authors bring insight that encourages women to correct distorted perceptions and understand who they really are in Christ - never settling for less when connected with the one who gives them hope. All believers are covered by God's covenant with Abraham.

This book is phenomenal, in it Dr Evans and his daughter Chrystal show us how God wants us to be as kingdom women. It’s a whole new light for me and very inspiring. I’m certainly not there but this book definitely helps guide you in the right direction all the way! I’ll definitely be relistening to this and taking notes!

Brienna desires only two things: to master her passion and to be chosen by a patron. Growing up in Valenia at the renowned Magnalia House should have prepared her. While some are born with a talent for one of the five passions - art, music, dramatics, wit, and knowledge - Brienna struggled to find hers until she chose knowledge. However, Brienna's greatest fear comes true - she is left without a patron. But months later, her life takes an unexpected turn when a disgraced lord offers her patronage.

For the first time ever I will compare this to a popular series. Twilight, every single person is in love with Breanna, wants to be with her, be her. Oh sorry except for one girl jealous of her because their master is in love with Breanna and not her. This story had a lot of potential, but I found myself disliking Breanna more and more every time she opened her mouth. She assumes sooo much of everyone, is normally wrong and yet she HAS to be right & keeps on making assumptions. The other thing that bothers me is this is a sheltered girl who knows only of knowledge, for the last 7 years she’s been at all all girls school learning knowledge and Few other “arts”. She hasn’t been trained in a lot of hand to hand combat, maybe a weeks worth at best, but now she’s going to go into battle sword held high and will probably even kill the king. (I don’t know the ending, I didn’t finish it with an hour left I just can’t anymore) all so she can put a girl in the throne because we should only have queens on the throne, no kings. Kings are evil.
Don’t get me wrong I love girl power. Hunger hames and Katniss YES PLEASE! Among so many many others. But this just didn’t do it for me. There was never any good reason as to why there should only be a queen on the throne. Just that there was, everyone who was smart believed it and it MUST happen again.
I’m sure lots of people will disagree with Me & love it. This one just didn’t work for me.

Historia
Chaol Westfall has always defined himself by his unwavering loyalty, his strength, and his position as the captain of the Guard. But all of that has changed since the glass castle shattered, since his men were slaughtered, since the king of Adarlan spared him from a killing blow, but left his body broken. His only shot at recovery lies with the legendary healers of the Torre Cesme in Antica - the stronghold of the southern continent's mighty empire.

Revisado: 11-14-17
I absolutely loved this book from beginning to end! I started it very hesitantly because I hated Chaol, the main character because of his douchebag ways in previous books. (I'll add I loved him the first two, till he changed my mind in book three)
Anyways, the book starts out with Chaol and Nesryn (my least favorite character) going to the legendary healers of the Torre Cesme in Antica to see if he can be healed.
Yrene Towers who w've previously met briefly in the Assassin's Blade is featured as a main character as well. Both she and Chaol must work together, both having huge chips on their shoulders from past experiences, both in desperate need of healing. . .
This book gives us lots of information key to the series, and by the end of if I have to admit I have fully forgiven and fallen in love with Chaol once more.
The Throne of Glass series is one of my absolute favorite series of all time! And this book is essential and just as good as the others in my opinion! Aelin makes a teeny tiny appearance in the very last chapter, making the reader squeal and desperately want the next and final book in this amazing series NOW. Sadly, well have to be patient and wait until next year.
I HIGHLY recommend this book! I will write no more as I myself LOVE spoilers, so intern I'm a walking spoiler. lol Hopefully I've given just enough to make you realize if you care for the series at all you MUST buy this book!

Historia
Being a bastard blows. Tilla would know. Her father, Lord Kent of the Western Province, loved her as a child but cast her aside as soon as he had trueborn children. At 16 Tilla spends her days exploring long-forgotten tunnels beneath the castle with her stablehand half brother, Jax, and her nights drinking with the servants, passing out on Jax's floor while her castle bedroom collects dust. Tilla secretly longs to sit by her father's side, enjoying feasts with the rest of the family.

still unsure
Revisado: 06-26-17
Is there anything you would change about this book?
The narrator. Her voice was good in the beginning, but i don't know if she got sick, or what but her voice is more gravely after several chapters and it grates on you the entire rest of the book. I'm on chapter 19 of 30 and unsure if I'll continue.
What did you like best about this story?
I like Tilla, Zel, and Lyriana (for the most part) Tilla and Zel are fun characters and seeing the two slowly warm up to each other has been enjoyable! I like Lyriana when she's not being preachy about her beliefs.
What didn’t you like about Brittany Pressley’s performance?
Her voice. I liked it in the begging but it changed several chapters in due to whatever circumstance, unfortunately it made the story hard to enjoy after that. Am hopeful it'll go back to normal ASAP!
Could you see Royal Bastards being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
Sure. I have enjoyed the story so far, minus one character I wish would just die, or go away because of how annoying and whiny he is. Not sure who I'd "cast" if i could choose.

Done with love triangles
Revisado: 02-28-17
Would you try another book from Kresley Cole and/or Emma Galvin?
Yes
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
I am so sick of love triangles. That's all i will say! I already hate that the main character has slept with BOTH of the guys. But to have her constantly going back and forth. I'm over this series! This will be my last.
Which character – as performed by Emma Galvin – was your favorite?
Death was probably my favorite. Emma Galvin did a great job voicing all the characters. She was the bright side to this story.
Did Arcana Rising inspire you to do anything?
Yes, NEVER read or write a book with love triangles.
Any additional comments?
Evie needs to make a choice and stick with it.

Historia
Zachary Quinto - best known for his role as the Nimoy-approved Spock in the recent Star Trek reboot and the menacing, power-stealing serial killer, Sylar, in Heroes - brings his well-earned sci-fi credentials and simmering intensity to this audio-exclusive novella from master storyteller John Scalzi. One day, not long from now, it becomes almost impossible to murder anyone - 999 times out of a thousand, anyone who is intentionally killed comes back. How? We don't know.

Revisado: 02-18-17
Would you listen to The Dispatcher again? Why?
Yes, I really enjoyed this story. The concept was surprising at first, but I genuinely liked everything about this story!
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Dispatcher?
Hearing about the wife and how unlike everyone else who woke up in bed, she awoke on her boat.
What does Zachary Quinto bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
His voice worked perfectly for the characters. It brought an extra depth to the story you wouldn't get just from reading the book. I hope he'll do more audiobooks!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes! It was good, and short so easy listening to in one sitting! I wouldn't have wanted to put it down even if I could.
Any additional comments?
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and thank audible for giving it out for free!

Great story! Fun to listen to, I can't wait to see what happens next. The only reason I'm giving it 4 out of 5 is because admittedly I was expecting something a tad more steamy & it was a slow start. Still well worth the listen!!!

Revisado: 03-05-16
The combination of story and reader made this the perfect audiobook to listen to! While I know I'd have enjoyed reading the book instead of listening to it, I wouldn't have been able to get the full effect! I can only hope the same reader has done both the second book & third one coming out end of this month. Kestrel was an enjoyable heroine, and Arin just as much fun! The amount of romantic tension was perfect, never did it get too sappy or feel too rushed. I cannot say enough good things about this book!!'
