It's all in the title & IT WORKS!!!
Revisado: 03-25-23
I purchased this audiobook while rushing out the door to perform in a concert, but HEY: IT'S ALREADY IN THE TITLE. This author is inspired in every way. The title of the book was enough of a reminder to what I already know -- MANY THANKS to the author's previously released books (e.g., "The Last Law of Attraction Book You'll Ever Need to Read" -- an AMAZING book), that just seeing the title reminded me, and IT worked, to "Just Feel Good." IN THIS BOOK, the author, once again, finds the perfect words to explain and teach HOW TO DO IT, but I have to add that the possible results of his instructions go far beyond even HIS promises in the book. This is the most sincere, ACCURATE, modest and unpretentious author ever to cover these topics. I have to say, though, having put many of his techniques -- explained succinctly in this book -- to work ALREADY now, for years, that they work. Not only that, the promises (and they are GRAND, glorious ones) he makes in this new book only hint at what is in store for anyone willing to try it out. Today, for example, for JUST A FEW MOMENTS, I found myself feeling a little unhappy, annoyed and irritated at this or that, then simply SAW the title of Andrew Kap's new book and that alone REMINDED me, "Duh! ...How did I forget this?" and, I'm telling you, I was INSTANTLY happy again, spent the entire time traveling to my gig this evening quite automatically, without effort, unable to STOP being happy, and spent the evening enjoying every encounter, each and every moment, and feeling like the most fortunate person on earth. I already know this stuff works, and hearing THIS NEW BOOK, it is easy to tell that Andrew Kap, too, SIMPLY KNOWS this works -- no matter what -- and he can't get it off his chest fast enough. LIKE HIS OTHER WORKS: in the fewest possible words, Mr. Kap manages to clearly state what the reader wants to know -- what they MIGHT, if they are lucky, be able to pull out of a library of 30 lengthy books by the greatest thinkers on the topic. And he does it in under two hours. As I was listening, I kept thinking -- yes, but, another thing he ought to have said... Then, he DOES say it. Only better than I would have. This is ONE inspired author, and -- once again -- he provides all you need to know. Just feel good. After all, that is all Julius Caesar wanted to do -- whether he achieved it or not, YOU can! He mentions the word "Magic" along the way. First of all, just feeling good REALLY IS all you need. Nothing more will make you any happier, but the author goes on to talk about all the good things that will come to you BECAUSE of feeling good. I am here to tell you that, even beyond anything the author hints at (which is plenty), every word of that is true. You follow these instructions to "just feel good" and you will be stunned at how incredibly the world will begin handing you your wildest dreams, in ways -- as the author points out -- that you couldn't possibly have imagined. IT IS TRUE. This is a definite case of "Try it, you'll like it..." You can listen to this book, think it over, and decide whether you feel it will work. But, like the author tells you: don't just read it, DO IT. You will see that it works. He uses the analogy that lifting weights will make muscles grow. Do what this book says, and -- like me -- you are going to feel as enthusiastic as the author does. It works. Things you didn't even know you wanted will come to you, and you will be amazed. Imagine having a penny and knowing, no matter what, tomorrow you will have two, then the following day you will have four, and no matter what you do, EVERY DAY that money will double. Well, "just feel good" literally works that way. The author's EASY explanation -- what to do -- will cause that feeling to double, infinitesimally until you will one day look around yourself and ask "How did I GET so happy?!!!" And it never quits expanding. Just listen to the author's excitement, HE KNOWS this works, you hear it in his words, and he has an uncanny gift for making his understanding of the process VERY easy to grasp. And, hey! For less than the tip you should be leaving for the cashier who sells you your next hamburger, THIS BOOK is a gift to mankind. Reading the title alone -- a well chosen one -- was worth the price of the book to me. I recommend it for anyone living on the planet. It is a complete instruction guide for a successful and happy life.

This book offers a major reassessment of classical music in the 20th century. John Mauceri argues that the history of music during this span was shaped by three major wars of that century: World War I, World War II, and the Cold War.

The most important book on music in a century!
Revisado: 05-19-22
Superbly well researched and brilliantly stated! EVERY composer & conductor in the world needs to read (or listen to) this book. With enlightening detail, Maestro Mauceri sums up perfectly what has been stated up to date on the tragedy of what we still call "The Twentieth Century," providing scintillating new insight and information I have never seen anywhere else. He addresses a situation that I personally witnessed in a concert hall, believing it to be unique -- indicating to me that it may be a universal experience -- where a patron, just as he describes in this book, became visibly agitated, panicky, and had to crawl from the center of an aisle, excusing himself as he rushed from the hall. When he later returned, he explained that the "music" was creating such an uncomfortable feeling to his psyche, he had to get as far away from it as possible for fear of losing his mind. As an American composer visiting Germany, I felt intimidation -- being in the land of the great composers -- until musicians of high renown approached me, stating: "We [all] hate the music being written by students from the conservatories and universities here." Mr. Mauceri perfectly explains the logical reason for this. There is no connection between the composers from the great land of composers to their predecessors. Indeed, they were forced into exile. Most importantly, EVERY sincere composer alive today needs to read this priceless work, in order to gain the permission needed to ignore the false conditions forced (by symphony orchestras and institutions of learning alike) requiring all composers -- to be called such -- to follow meaningless "rules" forbidding them to compose music in the way it was composed by all great composers before the 20th Century. When Arnold Schönberg sought to emancipate the dissonance he did NOT -- ever -- intend to imprison, murder or destroy the consonance, or any other form of music. Maestro Mauceri masterfully explains the fallacy of the current and far too extended mistaken turn classical music fell into, over a hundred years ago, and gives the best argument to date for ending the war. It is a war against ourselves and the casualties are pointless. Having read other books cited along with hearing countless lectures as well as multiple journeys through Leonard Bernstein's Norton Lectures, this book is the most intelligent and penetrative elucidation on the subject at hand. It should be translated into every. language as it has the power to redeem a great art that has been under attack far too long. It is, in my opinion, the most important book about music for our times.

Hat's off, folks!!! I don't know where he received all of his insights, but I happen to own ALL of the other Law of Attraction books, beginning with Napoleon Hill, whom I have become so familiar with that I seriously consider him a friend. I have witnessed many of the seemingly impossible things this author is a witness to, and already know that everything he says here is true -- and it really is as simple as he makes it appear to be. But, this man is clearly a genius full of understanding of the way this works, and his title is no exaggeration. He actually goes into it in SO MUCH detail that, in case you might have missed it, you won't. This guy is a wonderful teacher AND, to be redundant, he really does know how it works. Moreover, he is able to articulate it so that -- as he says -- this really will be the last book on the law of attraction you will ever need. Better still, it is likely to be the first book on the topic that will actually free you to experience the many miraculous things, like I said, that I know these laws will make happen for you. What a miracle that this book came out when it did -- take advantage, it will change your life.

Iván IV, el gran emperador ruso, famoso por su carácter y vehemencia, es considerado con justicia como uno de los creadores del estado ruso. Would you consider the audio edition of Iván IV El Terrible to be better than the print version?
I guess I should have known, but... It doesn't exactly SAY it's not in English -- but I couldn't understand a word of it -- SORRY!
