Historia
All Mina ever wanted was to escape her father's control. Half human, half vampire, she lived eternally torn between two worlds, never fully experiencing the pleasures of either until her father chose her as the pawn in his latest political move, gifting her to the darkly powerful and dangerously seductive Malachi Zion. Malachi is not a vampire to be trifled with. He rules with an iron fist and has a reputation for the darkest of sins. But the longer Mina spends with him, the more she realizes he's not the monster she first thought.

Wasn’t for me
Revisado: 01-22-24
I found my self listening at 3x and skipping ahead just to get to the end. Not enough plot for me personally.

Pronunciation changes?!
Revisado: 03-07-16
I loved this story and usually love Robert Petkoff, but in the beginning of the book he said Kir-A-nos, as in all the previous books, but in the end he was saying kir-rune-nos. I can't stand that kind of disconnect it really pulls me out of the story.

Disappointing narration-- great story
Revisado: 02-13-16
Is there anything you would change about this book?
The narration was lacking, often had to listen to parts multiple times to figure out who said what. And she changed her pronunciation of things sometimes it's very disconnecting, really took away from the experience. Will be returning because of it.

Liked but ended terribly
Revisado: 12-01-15
Hated the ending, returned it because of it. Also never understood why Lalla couldn't just seize the opportunity to become their leader and focus on organic regrowth in order to save them all instead of only seeing the ship as only a grave when it could have been a temporary haven while she figured out how to change things.
