Interesting plot and perspectives but almost felt a little too quick in the storytelling. However sometimes it feels like mysteries and thrillers drag on - this was the opposite. I also could not remember who Diane was and was very confused why she was along for the trip at the end- did I miss them inviting her?

Maureen Johnson does it again

I love the unwraveljng of the mysteries past and present that are a Maureen Johnson staple. I also love the inclusion of diverse characters especially non-binary characters in a normalizing way -same with race and sexuality! Thank you Maureen

This is how we should all be able to reflect on our story and life

Trevor Noah writes and speaks how I think, in long stories that sometimes go on tangents it only because you need to know something first before the other thing. He weaves the history of his country, his mother, his environments into his stories because he has reflected and analyzed how they are influential. We don’t grow up in a bubble. As individual as we like to think we are there are forces that shape everything too. Thank you for sharing.

Monster was not as good as any of the Gone series in my opinion however I did not expect it to be. And it blew away my expectations. I was still engaged and wanted to keep listening! Also a non-binary character who also gets to be more than just their gender ! And just the fact of a non-binary character is so exciting. My two passions gender and YA sci fi. Thank you Michael Grant I will be awaiting the next book!

Very engaging

I was very engaged in the story and I really enjoy alternating perspectives so that was also a hook for me however the ending was disappointing it had a great twist but then cut off. Still worth reading but I wish the Ending hadn’t felt so rushed.

Worthy Ending

Never have I read a book series that was able to keep my intrigue and the quality of narrative, plot and character the way that this series has! Endings are always hard but this was the most satisfying ending to series (a series I loved ) that I have ever read!
