Historia
After years of searching for the next Avatar, the four nations have found peace with Avatar Yun - until Kyoshi, Yun’s friend and servant, demonstrates remarkable bending abilities herself. With the identity of the true Avatar at stake, Kyoshi and her fiery friend Rangi flee the Avatar mansion and find supporters in the daofei - outlaws living in the shadows of the Earth Kingdom. But while Kyoshi, Rangi, and their daofei friends face off against underworld rivals, those who seek to control the Avatar draw close.

Bad story and bad story telling
Revisado: 01-08-22
The original series was a very good story and had great story telling. This book does not have the same spirit and even if one is willing to put that aside and consider it on its own, The reader still has to suffer through a poorly written story and bad story telling. The narrator is very good however.

I Wish There Were More of The Series on Audible
Revisado: 12-12-16
Where does Journey to Ixtlan rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Castaneda's classic series is a masterful collection of writings which show great insight into Toltec teachings. It is still the definitive source for Toltec knowledge.
What about Luis Moreno’s performance did you like?
Luis Moreno captures the expression o the people speaking when reading their quotes. He serves as a great voice for Castaneda, because he gives one the feeling that Castaneda is really reading the book to you. At the same time, he does not overdo it.
Any additional comments?
I wish there were more of Castaneda's books on Audible.
