If you came of age in the 80s like I did you love this book McCarthy wrote this book for those of us Gen Xers for whom he became a symbol on the silver screen. McCarthys rise to fame is chronicled well in this book enjoy the read.

This is an incredible true life adventure story

I can’t believe I hadn’t heard the story before. The writing is vivid and gripping, the narrative of fast paced, and the narration is terrific. I highly recommend this book and I can’t wait to see the movie. I understand it’s already been optioned for the screen.

The best Harry Potter book ever

It took me 16 years to read this, and without audible, I’d still be struggling the stories fabulous Iration by Jim Dale makes the book I loved every minute of it I’m someone who saw all the harry potter movies prior to reading any of the books and I can tell you, especially with the Audible productions, I was really missing out. I recommend this book to every Harry Potter fan. It was a fantastic read.
