I wanted to really enjoy this book but it was hard to when she used the “f” word so often. I have never come across a woman that uses that word like that (in real life) It’s sad because young adults would like to read this but the language is so very beneath any woman. I had to wipe it out of my library. So sad because it got such good reviews but when I hear a woman use language like that I feel like it really shows the IQ of a person.

What was a great poem for children was modernized by an illustrator and now there’s a narrator breathing life into the little tale. I love it! Howitt probably never knew that her words would live on like this. Way cool.

This was a great series that delivered a good plot, great narration (I did speed up the audio), and kept me interested from start to finish. I didn’t feel the heroine was whiny, rather more sure of herself and her abilities. It wasn’t crazy spicy, but a mere touch from the hero/prince carried so much anticipation that a reader would be thrilled. Kinda reminds me when Darcy touches Elizabeth hand and all the girls swoon. Either way, I thought the author did great balancing things. I will probably pick up another one of her series.

It’s awful. Powering through only makes it worse. I feel bad for men. I feel bad for women. Sane people don’t act like this or talk like this. Everything—actions and dialogue—gets repeated over and over. So many potential depth in characters is lost and the plot fall short of common sense (like security protocols).

These girls sit back and enjoy the In Death series, which is nice. Personally, I’m an In Death Audible fan and I don’t have anyone to reminisce with so I found it enjoyable. It makes you want to give your own two cents on these books. Fun, fun.

I feel that many listening to this book want and have high expectations or want to be scared out of their wits like the game. However, it can be harder to achieve that. Many people who listen to this book have played the game and already know a good deal of the secrets. Yet this book paints the Bendy world and gives a timeline. You get to see a side of Joey Drew—his vitality, his business, and the monster lying underneath. Names that pop up in the game are fleshed out and a few new characters are born. I feel the author did an excellent job trying to describe the villainous ink and how it had a mind and agenda of its own. All being said if I had never played the game this book would have probably gotten under my skin, but the people buying this book will have played the game and that should have made the author push further to scare us. All in all, this is a great book and I’m going to keep it in my library
