Historia
Dr. Scott Shepard has women all over the country tuning in to watch him strut around on the popular reality show The Doctor Is In. And he is the kind of sexy, anti-relationship player that makes headlines. With a revolving door of women on his arm and nights off spent schmoozing around New York, I swear, the man is giving me more material than I know what to do with. And although he might not be too thrilled with my column focusing on him, I won't stop - not when I'm this close to making a name for myself on the pop culture side of investigative journalism.

Nasal narrator and terrible characters
Revisado: 05-25-22
I love Max Monroe. I’ve listened to a bunch of her audiobooks and have very much enjoyed them. But this one was just terrible. As a character, Dr. Scott Shepherd is a pile of red flags and disgust. The female narrator is what really made me stop listening and return this book. She is ridiculously nasal and lackluster. If I could give this one zero stars I would.

Single dad Hogan Guthrie is getting his life back on track, and working as the "barbecue master" at a local diner is just a temporary detour. He and restaurant owner Violet Shaw constantly butt heads - until one night they end up mingling other parts instead. Hogan thought he had the recipe for happiness all figured out. But loyal, carefree Violet is daring him to trust his impulses...and see just how sweet small-town living - and loving - can be.

Normally a huge Lori Foster fan
Revisado: 11-08-17
I wish I could return this book. Normally I love Lori Foster’s books. I don’t know if it’s just listening to it read aloud that is making it seem worse but this one is nowhere near as good as her others. The two leads, if you remove all the sex, appear to hate each other. She’s manipulative throughout the entire book, and he spends half his time kissing her to literally shut her up. Aside from that, the way the narrator pronounces restaurant as rastaurant, and since like scents, it’s very hard to get through. I’m very disappointed.
