LOVED, LOVED, LOVED 😍 IT

What a wonderful story. So worth it. I'll be listening to it again and again. There are very few books I can say that about. Is it a weird coincidence that I recently listened to "The Far Pavillions". That was a marathon listen; but it held many insights that are relevant to today.

Uncomfortable Subject but worth the read

I don't normally care for the subject of rape being used as entertainment. But, this story does a good job of bringing attention to the problem without being overly exploitive. The plight of women around the world is disturbing and depressing. I just don't understand why there is so much hate being directed at women.

Would love one more book to make it a trilogy

I would definately read the further adventures of Rhett, Scarlett and Kat. I saw the movie "Gone With The Wind" years ago and found it too long and a bit on the boring side. However, I'm a firm believer in the book is always better than the movie. I've owned both audible books for quite a while and decided it was time to give them a listen. I listened to them both one after the other. Now I'm missing the chracters and that rarely happens for me. My eyes never would have survived reading them. Not only did I save my eyes, I was also able to save time by listening, since it allows me to multi task. That way I was able to get through them faster than trying to find the time to sit and read. Both Rhett and Scarlett were obnoxious people but, like train or car recks, hard to look away from. I felt bad for Scarlett's first three kids. Glad that she finally grew up and became a bit more tolerable. :) Have to admit for a time there I kept thinking she should have given up on Rhett and moved on but glad it all worked out in the end.

VERY TOUCHING & HEARTFELT

This story brought me to tears in a good way and it brought me many smiles too. My own son was diagnosed with both ADDHD and Dysgraphia. He struggled through school and is having a tough time finding work. Even though, like Xavier, he tested very high in other areas. This story brought me such hope. I'm grateful to the author for shining a light on and bringing awareness to Dysgraphia. This is one of the few stories I'll listen to over and over again. I will highly recommend it to all my friends and family. I would give it a thousand stars if I could.

The ending was too abrupt. Read both Quantum and Spin over Labor Day weekend. A little slow to start, then the action picks up and it's hard to put down. The narrator January LaVoy did an excellent job voicing the characters.

Didn't want it to end

It started off slow, but as more and more secrets were revealed, I was in it for the mystery. One mystery not resolved was whom her father was. I'm going to guess it was her recently deceased neighbor, the Earl. He welcomed her with open arms and took her under his wing. I would have loved to see the rest of they're lives played out. I'll have to rely on my own imagination such as it is.
