I really loved everything about how this story unraveled. Elliott Rose really grabbed my attention immediately with the characters and the plot. I love a secret society, and this one did not disappoint! And that plot twist??? I did not see that coming.

Fox was an awesome FMC. Feisty and at times unsure of herself and I loved her growth and fight throughout the story. And the lilac hair?? *looks up wigs immediately*

The MEN OF VENGEFUL GODS! I mean, come on. The perfect trio. All of their personalities were so different but really complemented each other well. I also loved the relationships the men had with each other separate from Fox. Sometimes these stories tend to revolve around the woman but this had a great balance.

the SPICE was fantastic. So unique, and the tension between Fox & Thorne specifically was so hot that when they finally hooked up I swear I could hear angels (maybe not 🤣) singing. 🎶

TLDR : If you love why choose romance, secret society, and morally grey men, absolutely read Vengeful Gods!!! So so good.

🎧 This audio was performed by Amy Hall and Gabriel Spires. It was AWESOME. My only complaint was I sometimes had a tough time differentiating the MMCs due to there only being 1 male narrator so definitely pay attention to the start of each chapter when listening!

Another smash hit from Brittanee Nicole

I absolutely loved EVERYTHING about this book. If you’ve read a Brittanée Nicole book before, you’re aware of the magic in her words. This book was no exception. Add the second chance element and the mental health conversation and it’s easily her best book yet!

🏒 Aiden is known as the happy, entertaining Langfield brother, and energetic center for the Boston Bolts, but he’s learning that that comes at a cost. The conversation surrounding mental health in this book was one of my favorite elements. As someone who has struggled with depression and anxiety for many years, I felt so seen.

💗 Lennox Kennedy was just absolutely amazing. At the beginning of the book she was lost and drifting through life, not staying anywhere too long to get attached. Her growth and self discovery throughout this book were inspiring and I felt like a proud friend.

I am such a sucker for second chance romance, and this one was so swoony. Revisiting the past was heartbreaking but made their reunion so much sweeter.

you KNOW there’s going to be fantastic spice in a book by Brittanée! This one was so good. There were times when Lennox felt self conscious as a curvy woman, but Aiden wouldn’t entertain any shyness and I loved that they were both vocal about what they wanted!

The Langfield cameos were amazing. We got to see lots of our favorite couples. The text banter was iconic and hilarious as usual and the whole cast added so much to the story.

Therapy and medication were discussed so openly and without judgement. I truly think this book is going to help so many people feel seen and hopefully reach out for help if they need it ❤️.

Teddy Hamilton & Samantha Brentmoor are two of my favorite narrators, and they truly added so much to this story. I listened to the audiobook as a reread, and I enjoyed it much more the 2nd time around thanks to the way these two brought Aiden and Lennox to life!

Dalton Davis is your new favorite fictional football player!

Run Game is book 2 in the Boston Blizzard series and follows Dia and Dalton. Dalton meets Dia and starts calling her “wifey” that first night. From then on, he decides she’s the one and he’ll do anything to make her his. One night in Vegas, he gets her to get married in a chapel on a whim. Dia reluctantly agrees, knowing they’ll annul the marriage in the morning, but what will happen when they have to stay married for 6 weeks?

AWESOME SPICE

I LOVED the dynamic between Dalton and Dia. Their banter back and forth was amazing and I really connected with the way Dia wouldn’t let herself be loved or taken care of. She’s used to doing everything on her own but Dalton was so determined to break her walls down. He was strong and steadfast and a complete cinnamon roll.

…But in the bedroom?? Not soft whatsoever. The spice was so memorable and days later I’m still thinking about some of the scenes that were written.

The found family aspect was one of my favorite parts of the story. Dia is working through a tough relationship with her parents and she finds and leans on the new relationships she’s forming. I also thought the interactions she had with Daltons parents were so refreshing and unique, and it was so heartwarming to read.

I highly recommend this to anyone who likes any of the tropes listed, likes a dirty mouthed MMC, feisty FMC and swooning moments abound!

Jameson Adams and Avery Caris knocked this audio out of the park! I absolutely loved the way they brought the humor, heartwarming moments, and tension to life sign their narration.

I LOVED these characters so much. To their first meeting in the tattoo shop to the plot twist, I was fully invested. River was such a different kind of single dad and I loved how he was so rough around the edges but soft for his family & Charleigh. Nolan was the sweetest little boy with so many funny moments and I loved the instant connection he and Charleigh formed. I also really enjoyed Charleigh’s friendship with Raven and I cannot WAIT for Raven & Otto’s book 👀.

I listened to the audiobook for this and Kelsey Navarro Foster and Aaron Shedlock absolutely knocked this duet narration out of the park! Such an adorable and endearing yet incredibly hot and spicy Christmas romcom about a single mom who finally finds someone who wants to take care of her (in more ways than one 😉).

I usually feel like novellas can be rushed and feel incomplete but I thoroughly enjoyed this one! Perfect quick read for this time of year.
