Historia
Now a number one Netflix documentary series. Get the full shocking story about billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein in this number one New York Times best-selling and definitive book. Jeffrey Epstein rose from humble origins into the New York City and Palm Beach elite. A college dropout with an instinct for numbers - and for people - Epstein amassed his wealth through a combination of access and skill. But even after he had it all, Epstein wanted more. That unceasing desire resulted in sexual-abuse charges, to which he pleaded guilty and received a shockingly lenient sentence.

EPSTEIN and COMPANY DEMONSTRATE THE SYSTEM
Revisado: 04-10-25
Patterson lived on the same small street and researched the dynamics of what happened. The Palm Beach and Federal D.A.'s dropped the ball.... The Sean Combs arrest is so similar.... Some powerful and wealthy men have something to offer that you can't buy... 100's of young girls... never the same one twice if that's your thing.... they can make that happen. For a price that we haven't fully figured out yet.

He's The MAN....needs more examples
Revisado: 12-02-22
Art Byrne's story written by Bob Emaliani called "Better Thinking, Better Results" is recommended by me as a Prequel to reading / listening to "Lean Turnaround"....
Drop Inventory and Maximize Turns is what Art says he would state if he had to distill LEAN down to 2 goals.... It's a bit to vague for a 5 hour listen for me.
He does transfer his enthusiasm and certainty in this method for ANY type of business; ESPECIALLY SERVICE-Related....which is counter-intuitive as "Lean Manufacturing" are 2 words often joined at the hip... Service processes tend to be more difficult to map and more difficult to change as all people THINK that they are adding value to it.

How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

Historia
Fumio Sasaki is not an enlightened minimalism expert or organizing guru like Marie Kondo - he's just a regular guy who was stressed out and constantly comparing himself to others, until one day he decided to change his life by saying goodbye to everything he didn't absolutely need. The effects were remarkable: Sasaki gained true freedom, new focus, and a real sense of gratitude for everything around him.

Sometimes life doesn’t make sense. When death, illness, unemployment, or a difficult relationship challenges everything we thought we knew, we can feel utterly unprepared to cope. Best-selling author Paul David Tripp weaves together his personal story, years of counseling experience, and biblical insights to help us in the midst of suffering, identifying six traps to avoid - including doubt, discouragement, and denial - and six comforts to embrace - including God’s presence, God’s people, and God’s grace.

Historia
"Our biggest fear," says poet and Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh, "is that we will become nothing when we die. If we think that we cease to exist when we die, we have not looked very deeply at ourselves." It is possible to live every day without being afraid of what happens when we die. Through a close examination of who we are, how we exist, and how we live, we can conquer our fear to live a freer and happier life. Through stories and lucid teachings, Thich Naht Hanh brings peace of mind to a difficult subject, and shows is how to live a happier life, free of fear.

Historia
In this book the philosopher Jonathan Westphal examines the mind-body problem in detail, laying out the reasoning behind the solutions that have been offered in the past and presenting his own proposal. The sharp focus on the mind-body problem, a problem that is not about the self or consciousness or the soul or anything other than the mind and the body, helps clarify both problem and solutions. Westphal outlines the history of the mind-body problem, beginning with Descartes.
