I loved this series when I read it. I no longer have the time to read so I listen instead. the dramatization is OK, I guess but the noise is distracting. I also miss the parts that were edited out I hope Audible will present a normal reading of this series. its one of My favorites

is it irish or is it Scottish?

really not sure if the writer wanted to depict an Irish culture or a Scottish one?? the story had prise but there were too many scenes that were completely skipped over. would have been interesting but when you cut out big chunks of events and just refer to them occurring the reader doesn't become immersed. too bad. unless reviews show improvements I will not be getting any other books by this author.

felt a little short

I felt like the book was a little short. maybe it just felt that way. it was still a good story though.
it was interesting to have a male narrator for one of Patricia Briggs books but I think he was a good pick. His accent for Bran was great but it was
a large voice, I think Bran's voice would be deceptively soft.
