Bewicched—the first novel in The Sea Wicche Chronicles a new series by Seana Kelly—drew me in from the first page.

Arwyn Corey is the most powerful wicche the Corey line produced in hundreds of years. Part wicche, part water fae, with a single touch she’s privy to your life experiences and thoughts. The Corey Council has pressured her to join, but she much prefers her art, the converted cannery gallery she lives in, and the proximity to her marine friends.

Declan is a descendant of the Quinn origin line and a powerful alpha-born wolf. A lone wolf due to the circumstances of his parent’s death he’s finally ready to settle down in Monterey and maybe sniff around the delectable wicche. He’s even willing to accept the alpha’s challenge, but there’s a downside to being in charge and he’s not impressed with the reality of pack allegiance potentially being thrust into his unwilling claws.

Kelly writes about strong female characters and mouthwatering alpha heroes who respect women. Bewicched delivers both. I’m already longing for the next installment.

Samantha Desz is an expert narrator voicing the characters and bringing the story to life. This audiobook gets five enthusiastic stars from me.
