Historia
Aaron Quinn and his girlfriend, Denise Huskins, were woken up by armed intruders and a voice saying, “Wake up, this is a robbery.” The intruders were wearing wetsuits, and placed blacked out goggles on Aaron and Denise’s eyes and headphones on their ears playing recorded messages. They were bound with zip ties and dragged into the closet before being drugged, all before the intruders kidnapped Denise for ransom. The next day when Aaron finally called 911 and he was taken into the police station, he quickly realized something was not right, as police were now trying to frame him for the ...

Love Annie Elise
Revisado: 01-24-24
She consistently delivers great content. While she definitely doesn't hide her opinions, she's entitled to them and most of the time I agree with her conclusions. Even on the rare instance that I don't, it doesn't matter. I understand why she concludes what she does and she's very entertaining. I'm so glad she's seeing such great success and growth!

It’s a twisted love story that unspools like a film noir, where lust and obsession lead to murder and a classic double cross. This original series from Dateline’s Keith Morrison takes us into the troubled mind of a young man, and the cold heart of a woman who needed her husband dead. If only she could find someone “man enough” to do the deed... Listen to all episodes of The Seduction now completely free, or subscribe to Dateline Premium to listen ad-free: DatelinePremium.com

Keith Morrison has the best voice
Revisado: 04-27-23
I really loved this long format story told by the excellent storyteller, Keith Morrison. He is my favorite Dateline host. I like the other hosts, but his approach to storytelling is unique. This is a fascinating true crime story told by the very best. If you like true crime, you'll love this.

Serialously is hosted by Annie Elise, best known for her true-crime YouTube channel “10 to Life” with over 1.5M subscribers. Annie created Serialously after decades of listening to true crime and craving more than just the headlines; she wanted all the overlooked details everyone else seemed to miss. Here, you’ll find everything you’d normally end up Googling yourself - the timelines, the red flags, the social media history, and everything in between. Even better, you’ll hear the story the way you’d want to: like your best friend is filling you in. Annie covers cases in an ...

Annie Elise is fantastic!
Revisado: 03-15-23
I have followed Annie Elise on YouTube for a long time now. She really cares about the people who watch her channel. She has replied to me personally and I've seen her reply to others as well. Considering the amount of viewers she has and the number of comments she gets, it's impressive that she has time to even read them.
Her presentation is clear and well thought out. She covers interesting cases and although it is clear what she thinks personally, she does entertain other possibilities, which I appreciate. I was very happy she started a podcast. She has a great speaking voice and is pleasant to listen to.

Fantastic podcast - highly recommend!
Revisado: 03-05-23
Emily always makes things interesting and so very clear, as well as being quite good with presenting all sides. I'm happy for her continued success! She deserves it! This is an excellent podcast (and YouTube channel) and I highly recommend it to everybody even remotely interested in nationally known legal cases. I've never heard or watched an episode that was boring, no matter which case she is covering.
Aside from always making things extremely interesting and clear, she is very good with presenting all sides, which I appreciate a lot. It's refreshing to have someone present the facts without just presenting what they feel personally. Unfortunately, most people just give their view and that's it. Its a common thing these days (even in legacy media) and an unwelcome trend. I appreciate that even when it is obvious where her opinion lies, she will argue with equal fervor other positions. I like to form my own opinion and not just be told what to think about something and Emily delivers!

It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

A lovely story
Revisado: 02-01-23
I thought this was beautifully done and well read by Harry. I tend to believe him despite what the press says. What he said makes a lot of sense. Some people talk about him like this - "Oh, poor little prince. You had it rough being rich and royal", but here's the thing. He had no life, no privacy, no freedom. No amount of privilege and money is worth THAT. Fame is one of the most horrible things that can happen to a person. People don't appreciate the intrinsic value of being able to live a life unjudged by the entire world. Imagine if everything YOU did was picked apart by millions and millions, all insisting that THEY know what your life is like better than you do. Every mistake, real and imagined,, is there to be dissected and condemned when you're out of favor with the press and therefore the public. I wouldn't trade my ability to be a free and private person (as much as we CAN be anyway) for all the money his family has with those the chains that bind them. Money really doesn't buy happiness, especially with such a vicious press. It's horrible how he has been treated. I'm glad he was able to carve out a life he wanted, just as his mother wanted to do. She would be happy he did - I'm certain of it.

This is probably THE best deal on Audible. One credit and you get more than 33 hours of outstanding storytelling and an exceptionally good reading performance. I cannot recommend this highly enough. I also cannot wait for the next volume in this work. I don't have enough superlatives to say how worth it this is.

Historia
What was it like to be John Lennon? What was it like to be the castoff child, the clown at school, the middle-class suburban boy who pretended to be a working-class hero? How did it feel to have one of the most recognizable singing voices in the world but to dislike it so much he always wanted to disguise it? Being John Lennon is not about the whitewashed Prince of Peace of “Imagine” legend - because that was only a small part of him. The John Lennon depicted in this book is a much more kaleidoscopic figure, sometimes almost a collision of different characters.

Fantastic
Revisado: 01-22-22
I loved this book. It was made even better by the exceptionally good narration. He is a wonderful storyteller. He has a great voice, good pacing and cadence, and even though he changed voices when quoting other people, it didn't sound ridiculous or mocking the way some narrators sound. It was thoroughly entertaining. I don't usually "read" audible books. When checking out the samples, I often find the narrating stiff and dull. Not with this book, though. This narrator made a good book great. I highly recommend the Audible version of this book.
