I cannot recommend this book more. A little over a year ago I found out about my own husband’s hidden addiction to pornography. While we did not deal with the same issues of indefinitely, I saw so much of our own journey in the chapters of this book.

How choosing 100% into the covenant of marriage is crucial for the spouse who has been betrayed.

How a commitment to radical honesty frees the chains of sin.

I heard my own words, fears and broken dreams echoed in this book… but not for the purpose of wallowing in them as truth. Rather, they helped me feel seen and not alone in the pain I felt and sometimes continue to feel. It’s ok that it takes time to digest pain like this. I can be loving and strong while still feeling weak from time to time.

The focus on the Savior and His gift of redemption was also so so sweet. Are we followers of Christ only in word? Or when the real tests come, can we DO what He has asked us to do?
