Great listen good story. At times it was overly dramatic both in narration and story and the conclusion was…ok. but overall it was very enjoyable. I’d listen to more by the authors.

I LOVED the previous two and was so excited to dive into this one. I was so let down by this book. The story line from the very start made me confused as if I'd missed something. Everything about the story was rushed and disjointed. The pace was off, the story line trite, needless death of a great staple character, a push to love and empathizes with a character hardly known. The final 2 chapters just left me feeling the same as the first. WHY??? With the death of X and the total randomness and lack of believability of couple Z, I'm not sure I'm willing to complete the series. Did Brian even write this one!??!!? No way I'm spending money or credits on further installments of this series.

Goodness. This was so dang long and repetitive! I had to listen to finish the series, but this was just...why?
Too much time spent on describing every mundane activity in detail, the same for surroundings. The excessive talk of sex. Blek. A lot of information was mentioned several times. A lot of skipping over. This story could've been half the length.

Pretty good story but yeah gads the narrator. She sounds the same no matter the character or ethnicity. Very disappointing listening to here. Story was nice. Charlie was a little stupid, but guess that’s the point. Poor damsel in a sitc needing saving.

I’ve enjoyed Novak books despite how high she turns up the crazy on antagonist and it’s even more difficult in audiobooks. However, this one both the writing and the reader offended.
Nice to have some racial diversity in books but seriously?!?
3 baby daddies, junkies, pimps, dirt poor, convicts & nearly uneducated slave like poor English. Opposite of impressed by this representation.
