Great addition to the Hell Divers books!

I was excited to hear of another book in this guilty pleasure of mine. it's a quick listen, and quite entertaining. Some of the plots were predictable but that didn't take away from my enjoyment of NSS describing the scenes in great detail. I can critique this until the cows come home but I really do like this series!!!

A great artist puts it in words

I loved Steadman's descriptive writing that shows his mind works. I enjoyed his stories, both his journey and the ones that involved Hunter S Thompson.

Nice perspective of Hunter Thompson that goes great with Juan F Thompson's book about Hunter.

Great Installment!

I found this Installment to be better than 4. it didn't feel rushed or end so abruptly like I felt the last did.

Binged this book in two days.

Good story but ended abruptly

I was looking forward to this book, it came out, I listened intently, and bam, it felt like it ended right at the climactic point of the book. I was pretty disappointed in this one.

Touching father / son story about a wonderful man

I absolutely loved this book. It was a touching father / son book about a wonderful man many of us know and love thru his writing.

In terms of the audiobook itself- I had some trouble with the audio being too quiet for the first half of the book and then it strangely picked up its volume half way thru.

Harder to get into but it picked up steam.

Jay Snyder is the only narrator of this book, unlike the previous books, so that flung me for a loop. He's good, but voices changed!

This was an interesting book. I think it picked up speed about 3/4 way thru. I was expecting more, at first, and found the majority of the story just to be about working with the press, really.

Cliche contract killer, kills everything

Maybe not my genre, maybe just not that great of a book. Summary: very cliche ex-government hitman operative guy is now an unstoppable contract killer with a heart and must battle kill squad after kill squad to rescue a family held hostage. He gets hurt, sure, but he just keeps going. Chuck Norris would be proud.

Picked up steam, I enjoyed it!

I was skeptical. This was my first book from this author. The first chapter had me nervous I stumbled upon a book that was too far "out there" for me in the science fiction realm, but, no, it had a nice feeling of almost post-apocalyptic survival that I enjoy. Great mix of feeling humanity on the brink of extinction mixed with some extra-terrestrial stuff. It turned out to be really cool!
