Historia
The campaign of destruction that Axel Soledad and Dallas Cates wreaked on Nate Romanowski and Joe Pickett left both men in tatters, especially Nate, who lost almost everything. Wondering if the civilized life left him vulnerable to attack, Nate dropped off the grid with his falcons in tow to prepare for vengeance. When Joe gets a call from the governor asking for help finding his son-in-law, who has gone missing in the Sierra Madre mountain range, he enlists the help of a local, a rookie game warden named Susan Kany.

Way too graphically violent. Too much!
Revisado: 03-24-25
The continuous violence in this one is too much! Otherwise storyline is decent! Returning this one. Been a fan for years.

Historia
A mushroom hunting foray turns gruesome when Kate Shugak stumbles across a burnt, decaying corpse amid a grove of morels. Was the deceased the hapless victim of last year's forest fire? Why has no one reported him missing? And why wasn't he wearing any clothes? Absent evidence of foul play, the troopers are inclined to call it death by misadventure; Kate's instincts suggest otherwise, leading her down a path that requires her to confront issues of community, faith, and free will.

Terrible.
Revisado: 01-19-24
Dislike when authors build a story around their dislikes, instead of a decent storyline. attack on all Christianity. If this was first book I had read by this author it would be my last.

Historia
A mid-air collision in the Alaskan wilderness between two small aircraft leaves ten people dead. Was it a bird strike, pilot error...or premeditated murder? Then an eleventh body is found in the wreckage: a man shot gangland style, twice in the chest and once in the head. In an investigation that reaches to the highest levels of government, justice may not be served, but Kate Shugak is determined that the truth will out, even at the risk of her life and the lives of those she loves most.

Historia
The good news is that Joe Pickett has his job back. The bad news is that he's come to learn that a drone is killing wildlife - and the drone belongs to a mysterious and wealthy man whose grandson is dating Joe's own daughter, Lucy. When Joe tries to lay down the rules for the drone operator, he's asked by the FBI and the DOJ to stand down, which only makes him more suspicious. Meanwhile, bodies are piling up in and around Joe's district in shocking numbers. He begins to fear that a pack of four vicious killers working on behalf of the Sinaloa cartel known as the Wolf Pack have arrived.

Historia
Viktor Orlov had a longstanding appointment with death. Once Russia’s richest man, he now resides in splendid exile in London, where he has waged a tireless crusade against the authoritarian kleptocrats who have seized control of the Kremlin. His mansion in Chelsea’s exclusive Cheyne Walk is one of the most heavily protected private dwellings in London. Yet somehow, on a rainy summer evening, in the midst of a global pandemic, Russia’s vengeful president finally manages to cross Orlov’s name off his kill list.

Another Author sharing his political views
Revisado: 07-18-21
I have enjoyed The Gabriel Allon series, but this will probably the worst written one. This is the second mystery author to share his political views, when All I wanted was a great book. Not all info shared was accurrate and of course everyone is allowed their opinions, but be upfront and let me know if I purchase your book you feel the need to share your politics. I didn’t want to read about COVID 19 or politics, just lookin for another good spy mystery. reader was good, but not as good as George Guidall.

Are you sure Molly Harper wrote this?
Revisado: 07-03-19
Listened to and read several of Ms. Harper’s series and usually enjoy them. This item is amateurish and not up to her usual skill level, which makes me ask - was this an early attempt and now published. Looking forward to the return to the snarky, funny, well presented stories. Also, the dual narration was terrible. Amanda Ronconi needs no help!
