Historia
For years, the ancient alien AI known as Skippy (the Magnificent, don’t forget that part) has been able to do one impossible thing after another. What is his secret? It’s simple: 100 percent Grade-A extreme awesomeness. And also because he had never been faced with an opponent of equal power. Until now. This time, he might need a little help from a band of filthy monkeys.

Historia
David Icke has been writing books for decades warning that current events were coming. He has faced ridicule and abuse for saying that the end of human freedom was being planned, how, and by whom. The Trap is the "Rosetta Stone" of illusory reality and opens the door to freedom in its greatest sense. Listen to this book and the "world" will never look the same again. The veil of illusion shall be swept aside and the amazing truth this has kept from us shall set you free.

Global Warming preaching inside
Revisado: 09-11-22
Fun story, but be advised, now that the author has achieved wide acclaim and recognition for previous novels (Bob O Verse), he can't resist throwing in some references to catastrophic global warming/climate change, as if ANY human activity or intervention would have an effect.
ALL planets in our solar system are seeing the same increases in temperature. Let that sink in before you allow globalists to tax and penalize you based on your "carbon footprint".

So dissapointing
Revisado: 08-30-22
I remembered reading and loving the Skylark series back when I was in grade school.
The storyline is a lot more simplistic and contrived than I remember, but I'm sure it's accurate.
By today's standards it is just laughable, corny, sort of a "gee whiz" style of speech. Not unlike the old Batman TV series with Adam West.
The voice actor is terrible, trying vainly to come up with different-sounding character voices, some of which literally sound like he's pinching his nose while speaking.
In fairness, the voice acting matches the corniness of the writing style, so the end result is a far cry from what you're used to here on Audible.
I was a kid when I read it, and somehow I thought it would be a lot more than it actually is. Instead, it's more like re-reading The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew novels.
Not really adult level fiction.
Kind of fun to hear/read it again, but rather tedious and child-like.

An Excellent Anthology of New Perspectives
Revisado: 04-02-22
New perspectives from the best thinkers/experiencers in the realm. Well done!
The editor has compiled a fascinating group of essays by the best in the field. If you're tired of the same old same old UFO stories, this book will renew your sense of wonder and infinite possibility.
Why the secrecy? Why don't they just land on the White House lawn? Has there been a recent change in how governments are dealing with the ET subject?
These questions and many more are thoroughly examined in new and engaging fashion.
Highly recommended

Historia
In 2017, a routine network television investigation led to a story only whispered about: one of Hollywood’s most powerful producers was a predator, protected by fear, wealth, and a conspiracy of silence. As Farrow drew closer to the truth, shadowy operatives, from high-priced lawyers to elite war-hardened spies, mounted a secret campaign of intimidation, threatening his career, following his every move, and weaponizing an account of abuse in his own family.

Historia
Last voyage, Captain Maddox entered a distant star system with a Swarm fleet. The sheer numbers were staggering, a 100-1 advantage against all human spacecraft. If the highly aggressive, racist insects gained hyper-spatial tube technology - allowing them to cross 1,000 light-years in seconds - it would mean Armageddon for Earth. Star Watch desperately needs something powerful to offset the annihilating Swarm numbers. As if on cue, Professor Ludendorff declares he has discovered the whereabouts of ancient Builder technology, a tech so potent it could defeat the Swarm.

Military Sci Fi
Revisado: 04-14-19
This is military SciFi from the point of view of the soldier in the trenches. And quite good at that.
Some starship battles, but mostly highly trained Legionnaires doing what they do best.
After the first book, I grew tired of it, and finally quit listening (which I've never done before with an audio book) and went looking for other fare. It just couldn't hold my attention.
The reader, whom I've heard many times before, is excellent.
