When Eugeena finds out the man is Carmen's ex-husband, this lessens her enthusiasm for the upcoming nuptials, especially since Carmen had failed to share this information about her past.

Easy Listening

This is a very enjoyable book. I added it to my list of favorites. The storyline captured & held my attention; I was eager to find out what happened next. The main character is spunky, funny and much of her story is relatable. The narrator tells this story exceedingly well giving the listener a front porch view of this neighborhood.

Love, Strength & Family

This book is one of my favorites. The family portrayed love and strength in so many ways. Through all adversity, the support of family and loved ones makes life easier to endure. I loved all the examples of each family member doing what was necessary to have a gratifying quality of life. This is an excellent story and the narration puts the listener on the Logan's front porch to watch each event unfold. Wonderful...just greatly wonderful!

I love mysteries and this is a favorite. I love this author's work on the CSI TV series and his book was just as entertaining. This mystery is a game show of crimes where the ultimate prize is your survival.
The narrator is excellent taking the mind through every scene; helping the listener see every piece of evidence.
I guessed the killer before the last few chapters.
