Great info
Revisado: 11-17-22
Great info, good narration. There was alot of fluff, normally I don't like a book that has alot of anecdotes, but it allowed the message to sink in over and over again which I needed. Leaving it your subconscious, giving it to God, trusting the universe, whatever you call it, this book really shows how to give it your higher power.

In a world inundated with sales books on getting to yes, this audiobook recommends just the opposite, focusing on how increasing your failure rate can greatly accelerate your movement toward ultimate success. Go for No! chronicles four days in the life of fictional character Eric Bratton, a call-reluctant copier salesman who wakes up one morning to find himself in a strange house with no idea of how he got there.

The lesson of the book is this: Embrace hearing No. Why? Becuase sales is a numbers game. If you ask 10 people 1 will say yes and 9 will say NO, if you ask 100 people 10 will say yes and 90 will say NO, and if you ask 1000 people 100 will say yes and 900 will say NO. Point is, in sales your going to hear more no waaaaay more than you hear yes. Keep going going don't be discouraged. Embrace the nos, becuase the more nos you get the more yeses you will get too. Since hearing no is discouraging people don't want to hear it, they dont go above and beyond their quotas. But getting comfortable with no, with rejection, is a must.
I dislike books that fluff their message and this book was 90% fluff, 10% message. What you need to know from this book can be summed up in 10 minutes!!! Seriously, this could've been an email.

Good listen.
Revisado: 10-15-21
This is a great intro into empaths and their relationship with a narcisit. Simple, straight to the point informative. The writer doesnt waste time with fluff stories, it is direct and on topic. the narration was good too. It is very practical so if your looking for a spiritual version of empathy (which is was) this book doesnt touch on that although I am glad that i found it.

so redundant.
Revisado: 09-09-20
I really wanted this book to end. it is repetitive. his lessons can be summed up in one chapter. the best part about this book was part three where it talks about group accountability and how to achieve that. if there is an abridged version read that. I can't explain how dang boring this book was before part 3.

Buy it! It has helped my 7 year relationship.
Revisado: 08-18-20
I have heard about the 5 Love Languages years ago and I am so happy I finally bought the book. My GF of 7 years and I recently started to come on bad terms and loose the connection we had. we still loved each other so i kept trying to find ways to work it out. After reading this is realized so many ways that I messed up with things that are important to her (acts of service) and so many says that I was dying to be spoken to in my love language (physical touch).
Quality Time is both of our secondary language so we loved spending time together. But I often didn't do things for her because in my mind I wasn't a maid and we were adults with equal responsibilities. On the other hand she though my physical needs were sex based (which it isnt!) and didn't understand my need for cuddle time lol.
This book taught me to understand love from her perspective and how to explain my form of love. I have recommended to everyone, even people who aren't in a relationship! they should really put me on their payroll because I relate this to literally all my relationship.
And the author has a nice voice, good dictation, the stories are good, the lessons are life long, and the information is great and not repetitive at all.
I love the book! I really wish I had it sooner! You will absolutely not regret this purchase!!!

You know those subtle tricks your coworkers are all guilty of? The constant nodding, pretend concentration, useless rhetorical questions? These tricks make them seem like they know what they're doing when in fact they have no clue. This behavior is so ingrained, so subtle, and so often mistaken for true intelligence that identifying it, calling it out, or compiling it into an exhaustive digest has never been attempted. Until now.

Really Opens Your Eyes
Revisado: 01-02-17
This is a great book. I love books that opens our minds and allows us to see things differently. This book had done just that in regards to sex.
We have so many prejudices, stipulations, discomfort, and hang ups about sex. We think we're not sexy enough, or good enough. We have limitations saying oral sex isn't real sex, or we can get an orgasm from foreplay.
This book will help higjlight some of the problems and baggage we bring with us into the bedroom. Are you insecure about your body? Is sex different now that your older? Do you use sex to fill some other kind of psychological need?
It doesn't teach you how to be good in bed, but how to define sex in your own way. To enjoy the process of sex instead of focusing on a two second orgasm. And in the end you will see how we define sex and sex doesn't define us.

Short with great information
Revisado: 12-24-16
He gave great informative advice. It was to the point and not drawn out and filled with fluff. He didn't go in great details about the points people needed to be brush up their leadership qualities. And it wasn't necessary. I think some of these self help books go over the top by going into details when their message is simple.
This book was packed with great information and most importantly to the point!
