Historia
At MI5 headquarters Regent's Park, First Desk Claude Whelan is learning the rule (cover your arse) the hard way. Tasked with protecting a beleaguered prime minister, he's facing attack from all directions himself. Over at Slough House, the MI5 satellite office for outcast and demoted spies, the agents are struggling with personal problems: repressed grief, various addictions, retail paralysis, and the nagging suspicion that their newest colleague is a psychopath. Plus someone is trying to kill Roddy Ho.

Slow Horses Continue To Win!
Revisado: 02-17-24
The story picks up well after the third season of the TV series with the known characters and their quirks. Well read in different accents just makes it a worthwhile experience.

Historia
When the Colonial Marines set out after their deadliest prey, the Xenomorphs, it's what Corporal Hicks calls a bug hunt - kill or be killed. Here are fifteen all-new stories of such "close encounters", written by many of today's most extraordinary authors. Set during the events of all four Alien films, sending the Marines to alien worlds, to derelict space settlements, and into the nests of the universe's most dangerous monsters, these adventures are guaranteed to send the blood racing - one way or another.

Some good stories
Revisado: 12-12-22
Some good stories that tie with ‘Aliens’ , using the same characters. A good creative narration on how the beloved pulse rifle was created. Worth listening to overall.

Historia
After the fall of France in May 1940, the British Expeditionary Force was miraculously evacuated from Dunkirk. Britain now stood alone to face Hitler’s inevitable invasion attempt. For the German army to land across the channel, Hitler needed mastery of the skies - the Royal Air Force would have to be broken. So every day throughout the summer, German bombers pounded the RAF air bases in the southern counties.

Strangely Spoken
Revisado: 08-25-22
As an Englishman, I found the way they described which squadron they served in to be odd. For example, one nine squadron rather using the word nineteen or six zero one rather than saying six hundred and one, which is how most people would say. But the stories themselves were interesting and would highlight the battles fought on an individual basis.

If you’re a fan of James Bond, this is worth the hours of listening!. I grew up with 007, when going to see it was something special.
Now to understand the creative processes behind each film and the characters is an audible pleasure!.
It’s an update production, recorded in 2020, and touches on ‘No Time To Die’.
