Historia
In Dad is Fat, stand-up comedian Jim Gaffigan, who’s best known for his legendary riffs on Hot Pockets, bacon, manatees, and McDonald's, expresses all the joys and horrors of life with five young children - everything from cousins ("celebrities for little kids") to toddlers’ communication skills ("they always sound like they have traveled by horseback for hours to deliver important news"), to the eating habits of four-year-olds ("there is no difference between a four-year-old eating a taco and throwing a taco on the floor").

One word: Funny!!
Revisado: 07-27-13
What did you love best about Dad Is Fat?
This book is a must read for parents, soon to be parents, people who don't want to be parents and people who just need to read this book so they won't be so darn crabby!! Love the book, (listened to it twice in a row) Jim is funny and yet weird at the same time. Ding-a-Ding-a-Dong!!!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Dad Is Fat?
All of it between the beginning word and the last word - Ding-a-Ding-a-Dong
What about Jim Gaffigan’s performance did you like?
He's funny - especially while I am eating a Hot Pocket and listening to Ding-a-Ding-a-Dong.

A winner as usual!
Revisado: 12-06-11
What did you love best about The Sixth Man?
David Baldacci is so much fun to read! He keeps you guessing but also brings the dark vs light of the government into the picture with details and believability. The characters become so real you want to invite them to dinner and ride in a bullet proof car!! Whether it is intrigue or insight David Baldacci is the man!!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Well the two main characters are great but I really liked Kelly Paul in this story too! She was tough, smart and fiercely loyal.
What about Ron McLarty and Orlagh Cassidy ’s performance did you like?
They brought the story to life - I always listen in my car and there was a couple times I wanted to duck!!
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
First I would love to see this book in film! Secondly, I would tag it

Disappointed with a capital D -
Revisado: 09-16-10
Why did they change narrators!!??!! I have listened to all the series and I couldn't even get past the first couple of chapters in this book - the narrator is not horrible but he is completely wrong for this book - Can't really tell you if I liked the book because I couldn't listen to it - too dry and not engaging.

Great Book
Revisado: 09-16-10
I love a good mystery and this series is great - could do without all the graphic sex - can't listen to it when anyone else is in the car with me - but it is a good series. The characters are interesting, the narrator is excellent, and the relationship between Roarke and Eve is evolving slowly. I forget that it is a futuristic novel but that makes it more involving.

Historia
She may be a best-selling author, but ex-librarian Jacqueline Kirby's views on the publishing biz aren't fit to print. In fact, she's thinking of trading celebrity for serenity and a house far away from fiendish editors and demented fans, when her agent whispers the only words that could ever make her stay: Naked in the Ice.

A pleasant Read
Revisado: 03-04-09
When I first started listening to Elizabeth Peter's books I thought there was way too much detail but as I have listened to more and more of her books, I realize the detail is what hooks you and keeps you feeling like part of the adventure. This was my first Kirby mystery but I know I will be listening to them all before long. The character is engaging, a little sassy and very likable. I would recommend this book and suggest listening to the series to fully enjoy the authors ability to tie the stories together.

The Wicked Widow
Revisado: 11-25-03
This is a good mystery book, a little predictable but enjoyable. Kept me guessing for a while but by the time I figured out what and who the mystery man was the action was picking up and it kept me interested to the end. I recommend this to anyone who likes mysteries set in old time England.
