For 31 years a man who called himself BTK (Bind, Torture, Kill) terrorized the city of Wichita, Kansas, sexually assaulting and strangling a series of women, taunting the police with frequent communications, and bragging about his crimes to local newspapers and TV stations.

Good read, but the narrator phoned it in.

Overall, great book. I learned far more about the case than I thought I would.
The narration, however, was bad. Sometimes you didn't know where one sentence ended and another paragraph started because the narrator just plowed right through. Then there were the mispronounciations. You'd think whatever production company, much less just the narrator would have checked, but there was ZERO effort to double check a pronunciation. Quantico, which you don't have to be from that area or be that familiar to know that's it's not pronounced kwan-teeek-oh. Or the word, garrote, isn't pronounced like the name Garrett. And Washington "Dull-ez"?! Come on!! Very distracting and busch league narration. A far cry from when Jonathan Groff narrated John Douglas', Killer Across the Table.

Great story and easy read!

I really enjoyed the story, great characters, and well put together. As being a native of Colorado the settings within the book made the story literally come alive. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
