Historia
Ever since a childhood visit to Washington, DC, Cassidy Hutchinson aspired to serve her country in government. Raised in a working-class family with a military background, she was the first in her immediate family to graduate from college. Despite having no ties to Washington, Hutchinson landed a vital position at the center of the Trump White House.

Brave, honest, necessary…
Revisado: 10-10-23
As I was listening to this audio of “Enough,” I couldn’t help, but wonder if I would be able to have the same courage and the stamina to do what Cassidy Hutchinson did by coming forward with the truth, amidst all the chaos, divisiveness, and the lies that have surfaced as a result of Trump’s administration.
The two things that struck me most is how alone she must have felt throughout this whole process, the hard-lined decision of knowing who to trust, and in the end, her unwavering ability to see this through to the end - if there ever can be an end.
Cassidy has shown us what true patriotism is, and as a Democrat, I have learned that we’ve lost our way, but that many of her values are my values, which gives me hope that the hatred between the two parties will subside so we can return once again to being a unified country, even if we have different ideas of how to get there. But that is what democracy is.

In They Knew, New York Times bestselling author Sarah Kendzior explores the United States’ “culture of conspiracy,” putting forth a timely and unflinching argument: uncritical faith in broken institutions is as dangerous as false narratives peddled by propagandists. Conspiracy theories are on the rise because officials refuse to enforce accountability for real conspiracies.

Revisado: 12-09-22
For a book like this, you just have to sit in the passenger seat and enjoy the journey. And what a journey it is. I was really impressed with how deep and thorough the research was, and even though I knew some of these incidents, Sarah took it even farther, opening my eyes to new perspectives on the same stories. I also like her examples of for tellings of the future when she used fortuneteller shows such as The Lone Gunmen, Eerie Indiana, and references to other soothsayers like The Simpsons. Well done I really enjoyed this book.

Trump: Where Fact and Fiction Collides
Revisado: 11-07-22
Insightful. As a researcher I knew a great deal already, having read a number of books and watched films about Trump’s mindset and capturing daily news, JAN. 6th hearings, and various video clips that capture his tone, philosophy, and combative rhetoric.
The takeaway I got from these audio sessions was one that never occurred with any other presidency… Not once, in all the hours and hours of recordings did Trump ever mention anything about maintaining and fostering a ‘United’ America. From the very beginning he divided us.
Every other president would use words like ‘we’ as a way to unite the American people. They would speak in terms of ‘we,’ or ‘together,’ or ‘united,’ ‘alliance,’ or as ‘Americans’…
Trump would point fingers and talk about ‘them,’ meaning the Democrats, as a divisive way to divide the American people rather than unite them in both purpose and cause. In fact, he criticized every other president before him. All that was important to him was to WIN or how great he is.
He was proud that he instilled RAGE in his language and practices, but he said in the very beginning that he would ‘unite’ the country. It was more important to him to be acknowledged for how great he is, but never specific about true facts. And it showed that he never respected the history and foundation of Washington, its institutions, or the constitution on which it was founded.

Never take yourself for granted…
Revisado: 10-23-19
This book has one powerful lesson… Everything that happens, happens because of you. Neville Goddard breaks down in simple terms what it takes to get where are you desire to go. I especially like that he equates the Bible to a psychological drama for men to understand his true purpose and power. He walks you through every aspect of what you need to be the person you want to be. This complete series of books is one of the greatest investments you’ll ever make.

I had always thought that things started with the traitorous eight, and the homebrew guys. This was utterly fascinating and entertaining. I was amazed at how much information the authors were able to collect to piece together this riveting tale. I’m glad that with the release of this book, this story becomes part of the tale of the inception of computers, and how important Buck’s creations were to the development of many of today’s technologies. Thank you to the authors for all the research you did to weave this fascinating and engaging story together.

Lawyers. Accountants. Software Engineers. That what Mom and Dad encouraged us to become. They were wrong. Gone is the age of "left-brain" dominance. The future belongs to a different kind of person with a different kind of mind: designers, inventors, teachers, storytellers - creative and emphatic "right-brain" thinkers whose abilities mark the fault line between who gets ahead and who doesn't.

Powerful in its Simplicity
Revisado: 10-03-19
I had known about Daniel pink for a long time but honestly had never read any of his books before. And not only was this a well-funded of information, but the way he laid everything out gave you a blueprint for how to apply each and every one of his techniques, ideas, and concepts into your own life seamlessly.
I always marvel at how someone does research to find the odd bits of information that were so intriguing within the pages of his book. Pink does this in spades. How he found some of the examples and analogies he used only lent to the credibility of this book. I look forward to reading his other books.

Historia
The Code of the Extraordinary Mind is a blueprint of laws to break us free from the shackles of ordinary life. It makes a case that everything we know about the world is mostly decided not by rational choice but instead by conditioning and habit. And thus most people live their lives based on limiting rules and outdated beliefs about pretty much everything - love, work, money, parenting, sex, health, and more - that they inherit and pass on from generation to generation.

Immediate and noticeable changes...
Revisado: 07-10-19
Sometimes you hear or read something hundreds of times with little impact on you. When listening to Vishen’s wonderful book, some of the things I’ve been hearing for years finally clicked. And more importantly, they sunk in, and I was instantly seeing a change internally and externally.
I believe there are two fundamental reasons for this. One is that Vishen doesn’t just give you something new to add to your arsenal of powerful purpose, he takes the time to break it down for you, show you the best and fastest ways to apply it, then backs it up with examples of how other mind blowing experts do it.
Secondly, he has reinforced these amazing concepts with words and phrases he himself coined. It sounds simple and silly, but upon hearing them for the first time, you instantly remember and can recall them.
You can really feel the love, passion, and support in everything he says and imparts to the reader (or listener). I truly believe that if you were still struggling after having gone through all the materials, not to mention the TONS of FREE online additional training and insights, then I think Vishen himself would get together with you to make sure you got all the benefit and profound changes your life wants, needs, and deserves.
Don’t miss out on this one!

Called "America's wisest and most respected authority on psychedelics and their use", James Fadiman has been involved with psychedelic research since the 1960s. In this guide to the immediate and long-term effects of psychedelic use for spiritual (high dose), therapeutic (moderate dose), and problem-solving (low dose and microdose) purposes, Fadiman outlines best practices for safe, sacred entheogenic voyages learned through his more than 40 years of experience - from the benefits of having a sensitive guide during a session (and how to be one) to the importance of the setting and pre-session intention.

Educational, informative, eye-opening, thorough
Revisado: 05-29-19
I have been on a personal journey (excuse the pun), to understand why, with so many positive studies, trials, and results, in areas that modern, legalized medicines can’t seem to cure, that psychedelics are still schedule one classified. Since the sixties there has been so much research and information gathered as to the positive results gathered and collected within clinical settings for issues as severe as alcoholism, ptsd, autism, anxiety, depression, and so much more, that I cannot see reason, beyond that for monetary gain, that drugs (which by the way, can have severe side-effects), are deemed safe, while psychedelics (proven both non-addictive and non-threatening), are classified as dangerous and illegal.
There was a good point made that the legalized dosages for public use should be smaller, at least initially. And since so many people have been micro dosing with positive effects, it seems a logical way to start, except in clinical settings where higher dosages may be necessary.
I found this book quite thorough and thought provoking, and I admire the author for his brave retelling of his own experiences as well as those of others. The case studies were also valuable and I hope government will use this information to re-examine their current position.
The argument to keep these psychedelics is very McCarthyism old school. At least Don Quixote was tilting at windmills that had purpose and meaning. Can we agree that our current policies are outdated and need to be readdressed?
Great read.

When Michael Pollan set out to research how LSD and psilocybin (the active ingredient in magic mushrooms) are being used to provide relief to people suffering from difficult-to-treat conditions such as depression, addiction, and anxiety, he did not intend to write what is undoubtedly his most personal book. But upon discovering how these remarkable substances are improving the lives not only of the mentally ill but also of healthy people coming to grips with the challenges of everyday life, he decided to explore the landscape of the mind in the first person as well as the third.

Revisado: 07-25-18
Like Psilocybe and or LSD, Michael’s books take you down a road in a most unexpected way. Not only was this book filled with very provocative and insightful information, the cast of characters made me feel like I was having my own psychedelic experience. Including Al Hubbard (Johnnie Appleseed), the people who drove this movement are as interesting and intriguing as the movement to work with psychedelics has become. As always, Pollan’s in-depth research makes the adventure of his books so much fun to explore and uncover.

Benjamin Franklin is the founding father who winks at us - an ambitious urban entrepreneur who rose up the social ladder, from leather-aproned shopkeeper to dining with kings. In best-selling author Walter Isaacson's vivid and witty full-scale biography, we discover why Franklin turns to us from history's stage with eyes that twinkle from behind his new-fangled spectacles. In Benjamin Franklin, Isaacson shows how Franklin defines both his own time and ours. The most interesting thing that Franklin invented, and continually reinvented, was himself.

Intriguing
Revisado: 02-06-18
I am a huge Walter Isaacson fan and was really looking forward to this one as I have his other books, but this one seem to have fallen a little short for me. The narrators voice was a little hard for me to sit with us, and the storyline was a little dry. I’m always fascinated in enamored with American history, and what I was hoping for his Isaacson‘s been on giving me a more personal and private view of the individual he writes about. It didn’t feel like I really got to know who Benjamin Franklin really was rather then learning about his behaviors and attitudes.
Overall, it was a good read, and I got some interesting insights. I think it’s worth a look.
