Listening to this story is a good reminder of why revolution is a last resort. It is well acted and the music helps a lot. I heard a story once that Castro said there will be no drum playing til the revolution is over, and the guys telling it said of course he was joking. The music continues!

I think the ideas are good, and may help some parents avoid buying expensive braces. Definitely breastfeed babies when you can, weaning gradually to natural foods. It's at least a few steps in a better direction. Modern dentistry has made a mess in my mouth. Prevention is best.

i was maybe 7 months pregnant and sprawled on the front steps in West Philly on a nice warm day hearing gunfire, then smelling smoke, then horrified to learn it was the MOVE family burning. Not being tv watchers, we got information in bits and pieces. This report gathers it up wisely and calmly, interviewing the important people in the tragedy. We have so much to learn in this society about preventing violent conflict. Let's learn now and stop wasting time!

I normally like all the podcasts I listen to, but this one I had to stop listening to. The writing was very bland and didn't help me picture or feel anything for the characters or location. My experience of summer camp was much brighter, maybe because we were sober. Sad.

I was slightly relieved to not find any clear racism or disrespect, just equal teasing and gentle steriotyping. I was braced for worse. Good puns and humbling human nature humor!

I listened to the end, caught up in the reality of the story, and now i feel that I have a better understanding of modern China and what someone my age was going through as we were floundering around here in our own US political turmoil. I recognize some of the big leader's names from our news about China, but at the time I wasn't paying attention, and I'm sure our news was quite inaccurate. This is a huge scholarly yet very human work.
