This book is so incredibly sad and distorting of issues that relate to childbirth, nature v nurture, hopscotch of times that I cannot recommend it. With a generous sprinkling of the “f” word the story itself suffers.

I absolutely loved this story and the narration was excellent. I was going to recommend it to my book club until the end of the book which included an overambitious, salacious, unpleasant description of sex. Why in the world would someone who wrote so well not use her skills to write a more appropriate ending to this story.
