Now I am familiar with Arthas
Revisado: 03-20-25
As a WoW gamer of 17 years, I enjoyed learning more about Arthas and his relationships. It’s sad, yet filled in the gaps of knowledge that I was missing. Really enjoyed this book.

Another great WOW book
Revisado: 03-08-25
As a World of Warcraft player of 17 years, I loved this book and how it does a deeper dive into the story I’ve come to know and love. Christie Golden is a masterful narrator, and she makes a well-written book even better. I cannot wait to continue the WOW book series.

Helped me to feel better
Revisado: 03-04-25
This booked helped me to feel better about empty nest syndrome. It’s hard to let go and grow while the house is so empty. Grandkids sprinkle magical dust in our lives. The author gives great ideas for moving forward and staying busy.

Finally, we are talking about women’s health!
Revisado: 03-02-25
Thank you for sharing this information by writing this book, and for your social media content. It is the latter that led me to purchasing your book.
Like thousands of other women, I too was given poor, misinformed information during perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. I feel like I’ve been strung-along, disregarded, and all alone in my search for better information. I know I’m not alone, but it shouldn’t have been so hard for me to seek and obtain proper treatment and advice.
I recently found help by a wonderful healthcare provider at MIDI Health. They, in conjunction with your information, has made the process of “pulling back the veil” much more palatable. Finally, I’m no longer alone. Thank you, not only for my benefit, but for the next generation(s) to come.

The ending is 0-star; the story was 4-star
Revisado: 11-05-24
I kind of wish I hadn't wasted my time on this, and I'll tell you why. The ending was non-sense.
The ending is zero-star, and the rest of the story was 4-star. The ending doesn't make sense to me, and after seeking other explanations I found only opinions and interpretations of what others "think" may be the ending. I found that others are just as confused as I am on the ending, or they theorized what they believe it to be. It's a shame, because until the last portions, I would've rated this a 4-star.
I liked the sound effects (many others do not). I liked the multiple narrators and voices/sounds. There were a few sounds that were far too loud for headphones and AirPods, such as the gunshots, but overall the narration was well done I thought.
I wish I had the ending explained by the writers. For now, I'll have to let it go and chalk it up to 4 hours wasted. That's how I feel about it. Really disappointing.

Historia
In Flatland, originally published in 1884, a humble square describes his two-dimensional world to benefit the inhabitants of Spaceland, the three-dimensional realm he discovers when he is visited by a being from beyond his plane. With dry wit and wild imagination, author Edwin Abbott Abbott builds a meticulous fantasy world rooted in an astute apprehension of psychology, politics, and social structures, as well as basic geometry. The story of Flatland, at once ridiculous and profound, delivers an incisive satire of social discourse that remains remarkably relevant today.

Mind-blown in a satirical, thought-provoking way
Revisado: 10-31-24
I stumbled upon this title while listening to a podcast hosted by Chris Williamson and guest Eric Weinstein, and among the many topics the 4th dimension and tesseracts were of topic. The book Flatland is one part of the rabbit hole I'm now caught in. In that spirit, I'll limit this review to the book only.
What a masterful, well-written piece this is. In an attempt to apply mathematics to the understanding so that laymen may understand dimensions. I'm quite sure I could re-read this and learn double of what I learned during one pass of this book. I think the reference to women as lines, not so intelligent but oh so emotional, made me crack up, so I assume (without reading reviews) that it was at best, satirical. I feel as though I've been exposed to something brand new - a new way of thinking. The book was not what I thought it'd be - it was much more. I think of it as one more avenue into my own self-reflection of what I think this world is.
I cannot recommend it enough, but one MUST be open-minded and willing to explore the opening of their 3rd eye. I don't know of a better way to state this. I hope it makes sense to those who are seeking enlightenment.

Historia
Long before the beginning of recorded time, there stood the world of Azeroth. Every kind of magical being strode the countryside among the tribes of man, and all was at peace - until the arrival of the demons and horrors of the Burning Legion and their baneful Lord Sargeras, dark god of chaotic magic. Now Dragons, Dwarves, Elves, Goblins, Humans, and Orcs all vie for supremacy across the scattered kingdoms - part of a grand, malevolent scheme that will determine the fate of the world of The Guardians of Tirisfal: a line of champions imbued with godlike powers.

Revisado: 09-19-24
The book was ok. I feel like the story dragged on, and on, and could have been shorter, but it was an ok read. The timeline got confusing (because the book went on and on) but it was alright. The narrators we pretty good.

In the mist-shrouded haze of the past, the world of Azeroth teemed with wondrous creatures of every kind. Mysterious Elves and hardy Dwarves walked among tribes of Man in relative peace and harmony - until the arrival of the demonic army known as the Burning Legion shattered the world's tranquility forever. Thrall is such a complex Orc
Revisado: 09-10-24
I read this book years ago, and after recommending to my spouse, I accidentally purchased it, so I just re-read it. I’m so glad that I did! I’d remembered the harsh cruelty that was inflicted on Thrall, but had forgotten the majority of the storyline flow.
Christie Golden is an amazing writer, as her character development is just right and unwinds beautifully. Her narration of each book is a 10/10, if not more. If you’ve not read the Warcraft lore, you should…and if you’re a WoW player like me, you MUST read! Start with Christie’s books-you won’t be sorry.
