Historia
The Mongol army led by Genghis Khan subjugated more lands and people in 25 years than the Romans did in 400. In nearly every country the Mongols conquered, they brought an unprecedented rise in cultural communication, expanded trade, and a blossoming of civilization.

fascinating
Revisado: 01-15-24
English is my second language and it was well written and read. I never knew hoe big the Mongol influence was on the world we know today. And the way he dealt with his captives regarding religion and culture is very interesting.

Historia
"Ignorant boys killing each other," is just about all Nathan Coulter would tell his wife about the Battle of Okinawa in the spring of 1945. Life carried on for the community of Port William, Kentucky, as some boys returned from the war while the lives of others were mourned. In her seventies, Nathan's wife, Hannah, now has time to tell of the years since the war.

Historia
For years, rumors of the 'Marsh Girl' have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand. Then the time comes when she yearns to be touched and loved.

Historia

Revisado: 08-15-21
Vir my, briljante voorlesing. Met PG du Plessis moet jy elke woord kan hoor want dit is meesterlik gekies. Die storie was eerlik, geloofwaardig en boeiend.
