Historia
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

Well worth it
Revisado: 02-18-23
The narration is excellent. The story and characters intriguing. Really enjoyed. The people who complain about the 30 year old man child character, well, he’s a 30 year old man child, whatever.

Historia
Paul Falkowski looks "under the hood" of microbes to find the engines of life, the actual working parts that do the biochemical heavy lifting for every living organism on Earth. With insight and humor, he explains how these miniature engines are built - and how they have been appropriated by and assembled like Lego sets within every creature that walks, swims, or flies. Falkowski shows how evolution works to maintain this core machinery of life, and how we and other animals are veritable conglomerations of microbes.

if ur hot for microbes...
Revisado: 10-23-20
Actually, if you’re already hot for them, this book might be a bit too basic. The narrator was not my cup of tea. Do yourself a favor and listen to the sample prior to purchasing the audiobook. Last few chapters were worth the listen.

Historia
With his characteristic eyebrow-raising behavior, Richard P. Feynman once provoked the wife of a Princeton dean to remark, "Surely you're joking, Mr. Feynman!" But the many scientific and personal achievements of this Nobel Prize-winning physicist are no laughing matter. Here, woven with his scintillating views on modern science, Feynman relates the defining moments of his accomplished life.

Interesting, fun, a bit tedious
Revisado: 10-15-20
The stories are pretty interesting. I took away a nice reminder to remain curious and have fun with whatever life throws at you. I felt it was a bid tedious to listen to for a long period of time, but easy to get through in shorter sessions and that works well for the format. Overall, would recommend.

Pretty bad
Revisado: 05-11-15
As far as horoscopes go, this is terrible. It's made for the masses with a cheesy female voice to boot.
