This outline of his life was clear but exuberant in its analysis of his thinking. I so enjoyed this book. sometimes the physics was hard to grasp, but then the man intervened and made it sparkle.

Can't imagine How Isaacson pulled this off but this is an exciting adventure about a life unlimited by the fears that typically stand in the way of audacious progress. great job capturing both the heroic bits and toxic bits. thank you!

This is an interesting overview of those elements of human experience that might promote consciousness over materialism. the reader was a bit slow however.

I've loved some of her work but this was hollow, tiny, without substance. A long story about a weak woman, and uninspired life. sorry I just didn't get it. stayed with it hoping something worthwhile would happen in the end but it was just more weak woman stuff.

Thought this was science fiction but it was just super foul mouthed characters, exchanging threatening dialog on and on, not really going anywhere. the prologue was good but after that it churned and churned. perhaps it got better but I didn't want to struggle through it to find out.

Taking a topic like the many worlds theory and describing how it could grasp a life, Matt haig convinces us that we've missed something very important about life. this story draws you in to reflect on your own what-ifs. settle in for the evening and enjoy this fairy tale.

Good story too, but the performance was just superb! short story, haunting, downright chilling. will have to check out others read by suchet.

I worked my way through this entire book hoping he would eventually deal With the entire array of current scientific theories of " what is real". Instead he provides a detailed and at times repetitive and tedious history on the progression by the 20th century physicists on quantum theory. What Adam arrives at by the end of the walk through history leaves the reader firmly entrenched in the many worlds solution. unfortunately by the last chapter he adamantly dismisses various alternative Interpretations of Scientific data as nonsense. He critiques the dogma of adherents to the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics, yet he denies that right to others who posit alternatives to other scientific postulates( like many worlds, climate change and evolution). by the last chapter his dogmatic approach to dismissing all opposing theories as non scientific exposes his own bias.

Narrator was great. always like to hear finest interviews. and his writing is the same clear and "meaty". not full of repetition so it feels like you're learning. ill probably start over and listen again.
