I've been a believer since I was a young boy. After listening to this audio book there are many scriptures that have taken on a much deeper meaning. I highly recommend you listen. Incredible story, amazing testimony.

Historia
Art & Fear explores the way art gets made, the reasons it often doesn't get made, and the nature of the difficulties that cause so many artists to give up along the way. This is a book about what it feels like to sit in your studio or classroom, at your wheel or keyboard, easel or camera, trying to do the work you need to do. It is about committing your future to your own hands, placing free will above predestination, choice above chance. It is about finding your own work.

Great listen. Very insightful and encouraging.

I enjoyed most of the book. It's coming for a secular perspective so I don't agree with some of the methods. I get the spirit of the book and I can convert the one or two examples to work with my own ideology. Worth the listen.

Historia
In the year 2045, reality is an ugly place. The only time Wade Watts really feels alive is when he’s jacked into the OASIS, a vast virtual world where most of humanity spends their days. When the eccentric creator of the OASIS dies, he leaves behind a series of fiendish puzzles, based on his obsession with the pop culture of decades past. Whoever is first to solve them will inherit his vast fortune—and control of the OASIS itself.

Almost perfect
Revisado: 04-08-24
Could have been amazing. There were three or 4 times when the author injected his political bent into the story. it has nothing to do with the story nor did it add to the depth of the story. It was a blatant attempt to ram his ideology down your throat. The whole point of this type of book is escapism. It would have been amazing without this. Now an exciting, fantastically writen book leaves a bad taste because the author was trying to indoctrinate you instead of entertain you. sad. He has a gift for story telling.

revolted !!!

couldn't get through this. it has a grown man raping a young boy... multiple times. sick. If an author can stomach to write such atrocities I have no desire to read or listen to anything else they produce. Disgusting.

The title is very deceptive.
Revisado: 07-18-23
This books has nothing to do with actually writing music. There is good information in here but it's not what the title implies. I even like this artist's music. If I were trying to get signed to a label this is a good book. If you are trying to learn how to write music keep moving this is not the book for you. It has lots of inspiration but not much music writing information. I personally don't care about fame. I might have 25 years ago. I just want to write music. I was looking for a formula I could learn and then build on. This book is not that. It is well written and, like I said earlier, a wealth of information. It's just not a guide to writing music. It's more about the release part of the title. Blessings to the author for taking his time to share his knowledge, it just wasn't the knowledge I was searching for. God is good.
