Perfect read for the holiday season. Characters were charming, mystery kept you interested. Would have enjoyed a little more detail at the end, just because I wasn't ready for the story to stop yet :-).

The guessing game

I truly enjoyed this book. Every time that you think you have figured it out something is said that keeps you questioning your own thoughts. The narrators did a fantastic job in confirming your self-doubt. The characters were interesting, the one moment you would love them, the next dispise them! So worth the listen.

A story heard before

The story itself makes you feel as if you've heard it a thousand times before. I figured out the plot in the first couple of chapters. The performance it extremely dull, it might have been better with a bigger variety of voices.
Alex's previous book had a phenomal twist at the end, true thriller. Unfortunately this book did not live up to the hype.

Wonderful book

It has an impact on how you face things in your life. I have listened to it once and will definitely do so again. I enjoyed the book a specially due to the fact that I am the same age as what she was when everything came tumbling down. It is not about being perfect and it is never too late.
There are so many critics out there, I would honestly say: it depends on what you want to get out of it. Go in with an open mind and I promise you it is like listening to an old friend talking to you. Love Mel Robbins!
