I liked the realness of this character. As a divorcee single mom myself, I felt very connected to a lot of her feelings, and the discomfort with dating again and not feeling attractive. It was a fun listen. Recommended by a friend and did not disappoint.

I was confused and disappointed with this story. I don’t really understand what the point of it was. I never really got attached to any of the characters and don’t even know why I listened to the whole thing. The narrator did a fine job. But I wish I enjoyed the story. A waste of a credit, if you ask me.

I was generally confused the entire time I was listening. Then it finished and I didn’t get it. At all. The story was so boring to me. I kept thinking it was going to get good and then it just ended. I’m very disappointed.

One of my favorites

I love this book. I've listened three times now. I like that the story is long so I get to enjoy it for a long time. There are a lot of details that are important to the character development as well as the setting of the strange world in which Nora finds herself stuck.
Each time I listen I realize how many aspects of the book I forgot and I get to enjoy it all over again.
I heard there is a sequel coming out next year. Very excited!

More required reading.

This book was a summer reading assignment for our staff. I liked that it was not very long. I could listen an hour each day and be done in no time. The story was interesting and I thought the narrator did well.
Interesting material. I kept comparing the characters and the dysfunctions to our staff. It will be interesting to see how we accept this book at our next staff meeting.

Required reading

I was reluctant to read this book as it was required as part of our staff summer reading assignment. I always opt for the audiobook when possible.
I found a lot of value in the book. There were great ideas that inspired me to be more original in life and career. Also it gave me ideas to inspire my own kids as well as my students.
The audiobook was fine. I did not have a problem with the narrator as I sometimes do with books like this.

I've read all but the new book so far. I reread them all with the lost files books interspersed this time. I like them. This one was good. It was quite dark but a necessary explanation to Five's back story. I almost feel a little sad for him where before I disliked him strongly. Worth the read even though it's not a super happy story.
