This was a nice followup to book one where we get to see how the characters have evolved. It is a cozy mystery and an enjoyable listen. The narrator does a wonderful job. Worth a listen.

The development of the hit musical

Whether you have seen Come from Away or not, this is a phenomenal book. Kindness takes initiative and effort. It is that right there that Come from Away is about. Most of us never think about how long it takes to bring a musical to the stage- it's years of work. This was a very cool behind the scenes look at making the musical and the people the characters are based on. 5 stars. Read the book, listen to the book, go see the show. Kindness matters.

Such a cute friends to lovers sport romance. I had a hard time getting behind this story for some reason: it's probably 100% on me and not the story. The story moves well, characters are good, and has a lovely HEA.

A short story worth your time

A little backstory: I've followed Sally Hepworth on social media for years, but this is her first work I've read.

Great things: Well narrated. Good plot points. A little spooky, but not too spooky. Travel. LGBTQ rep. Even though it's a short story, I didn't feel like it needed more plot/less plot. Very well written.

First contact- with a touch of kindnes

I told her "I wish there were more nice people".

The cast did a terrific job with this! I don't think it would have hit as strongly without the full cast experience.

As many people have said this is a first contact story and no one does it quite like Sylvain Neuvel. The writing makes you fall in love with the cast of characters, provides scientific reasons why this might be the case, and answers the "what would the government do with this information and do we tell them?" I greatly enjoyed this book. Even though it was 2.5 hours the story was well rounded. If this is your first Sylvain Neuvel book- may I recommend Sleeping Giants next? Happy listening.

Another great story in the series

This was an interesting spin that I'm not sure I was ready to take. Great story. Love to see characters we are familiar with again. Vicky being scared of men and the constant mention of it was a little much in this one for me. Maybe I was just sensitive to it? It didn't detract from the story, but we get it. The ending juxtaposition between human and OTHER justice was fascinating. Also, I heart Aggie. That's all.

Great characters

This is a novella, not a full length novel. Just a heads up that this is a miscommunication trope. With lovable characters and some lovely sex scenes. It's a great short read/listen. I enjoyed the narration.
