Historia
In The Company, the largely unknown history of the joint-stock company is presented by the editors of Economist. One of history's greatest catalysts, the joint-stock company has dramatically changed the way human beings live, work, and conduct business. With companies now affecting the world on a global scale, it is more pressing than ever before to understand this driving force.

An Informal & Interesting Read
Revisado: 08-06-22
I learned a lot from this book, it appealed to my interest in history and entrepreneurialism. I was looking for a book that covered the history of companies and this book opens the audience up to some insightful perspectives. It starts out great, though it tapers off a bit near the end.

Historia
Sixteenth-century Spanish gentleman Don Quixote, fed by his own delusional fantasies, takes to the road in search of chivalrous adventures. But his quest leads to more trouble than triumph. At once humorous, romantic, and sad, Don Quixote is a literary landmark. This fresh edition, by award-winning translator Edith Grossman, brings the tale to life as never before.

Essential For All Authors
Revisado: 06-20-19
This 400 year old tale is the best I've ever listened to! I've just finished my 3rd playthrough and still can't get enough. If you're an author this is required knowledge. RIP Miguel and thank you for this! Thanks also to the narrator who in my opinion is a legend for narrating this entire tale solo. What an awesome work of literature!

Much more philosophical than originally supposed!
Revisado: 12-12-18
This "read" has turned out to be much much more philosophical in content and in discussion than I had thought prior. All other Frankenstein retellings I've heard are clearly a fraction of this whole. This book touches on what it means to be alive and goes so far as to address human rights in the most riveting of ways. The narrator's voice made listening to this at night a serious challenge :)
