Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Historia
In the highly anticipated finale to the New York Times best-selling trilogy, dictators, prophets, and tensions rise. In a world that’s conquered death, will humanity finally be torn asunder by the immortal beings it created? Citra and Rowan have disappeared. Endura is gone. It seems like nothing stands between Scythe Goddard and absolute dominion over the world scythedom. With the silence of the Thunderhead and the reverberations of the Great Resonance still shaking the earth to its core, the question remains: Is there anyone left who can stop him?

Transgenders make their way into your entertainment again.
Revisado: 10-23-24
Why wait until the third book of a trilogy to spout ideals of transgenderism? Is it because you know that most would put the 1st book down if they had to read chapters and chapters about how little boys and girls should get to “try on” each sex without parental influence before they chose their gender? And tbh, the story just wasn’t that great…..

The missing ending….
Revisado: 06-30-24
I feel like they forgot to include the last 3 chapters of the book!! I loved the story all the way through and then at the end, the story ends abruptly and you don’t even know what happens to the family. Very disappointed….

Historia
Bhima, the unforgettable main character of Thrity Umrigar’s beloved national best seller, The Space Between Us, returns in this triumphant sequel - a poignant and compelling novel in which the former servant struggles against the circumstances of class and misfortune to forge a new path for herself and her granddaughter in modern India. Poor and illiterate, Bhima had faithfully worked for the Dubash family, an upper-middle-class Parsi household, for more than 20 years.

"Make America White Again" actual line from book..
Revisado: 01-07-19
I think Jodi has lost her ability to tell a good story. I don't always agree with every viewpoint but I enjoy reading her books because she could present an unbiased case from both sides. The last two books have been so poorly written that her characters are stereotypical and unbelievable. This book is basically left-wing propaganda complete with race baiting and stereotypical southerners. And yes, she actually describes the argument over abortion rights as middle aged white males trying to "make America white again". Really? I'm not even a pro-lifer and that line makes me want to puke. Get it together please Jodi. Your books are becoming bullshit and it's disappointing...

Not even worth a short read
Revisado: 05-18-18
God forbid you should be a Christian in modern day society. This book is SOO far out there it’s unbelievable. So....crazy American Christian white guy kidnaps poor British girl and forces her to go around southern USA “healing” the sick in tent revivals bc he’s scamming all these religious fools who are so willing to give their money away to a “God that doesn’t exist”. What a waste of a credit. Mom and daughter are reunited after five years apart. The end. Don’t waste your money on this trash.

After his December 2003 arrest, registered nurse Charlie Cullen was quickly dubbed "The Angel of Death" by the media. But Cullen was no mercy killer, nor was he a simple monster. He was a favorite son, husband, beloved father, best friend, and celebrated caregiver. Implicated in the deaths of as many as 300 patients, he was also perhaps the most prolific serial killer in American history.

I'm annoyed at authors putting their political views in books.
Revisado: 07-12-16
Let me tell you the premise of this book:
"America and capitalism are evil and corrupt. We should all be socialists" and a quote from the book, "socialism has failed everywhere it's been tried. Well then we just keep trying". Are you kidding me??? The story was mediocre at best but I really regretted reading the book after I got to the end and had to listen to that socialist bullshit.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I will continue to read more by this author. The story was very interesting and I didn't think the accents were distracting like some of the other reviewers had said.
