Historia
My life has never been better. I have a beautiful little girl, and I am engaged to be married to the man I’ve had a crush on since I can remember. So when Nick, my handsome fiancé, announces that his sister Carla is finally coming home, it’s truly the icing on the cake. That was twelve years ago, and no one has seen her since. Everyone is ecstatic about Carla’s return. But as I spend more time with her, I can't shake the feeling that something isn't right. Her behavior is a little off, her childhood memories don't align with mine, and she's oddly evasive about her lost years.

Felt deceived
Revisado: 04-08-25
I found the protagonist to be so annoyingly gullible. I don’t know who gives over $20,000 when they’re being treated that shitty. Why couldn’t you just give them half? I wouldn’t even have done that. For some reason it just sort of seem pretty obvious That she was being gaslit. And it was annoying to have to hear the protagonist constantly sounds like a goody two shoes.. I guess I felt punked rather than it being a plausible twist. There were some sections that were so well written. It was all well written to be honest with you. It was just too much gone into what a gullible nitwit the protagonist was. At some point, I want to throw her down well as myself. Only because it seems like she should’ve had more street smarts to make this more fun.

Cared about Will. Cared about Ally. Didn’t care about Liz or added characters. Last half was not as good.

Predictable
Revisado: 10-22-24
The last of gut instinct of woman character was annoying. Too tidy and neat. And left no mystery as can the lady said everything in her mind. Wanted someone to make her end up alone or dead too. Her son - predictable too.

Yes the systemic issues. I hope there are more of these. I work for Joseph’s house and shelter and Troy in Albany New York. It’s really helpful to hear what other people are doing.

Revealing scientifically and spiritually uplifting
Revisado: 08-29-20
The amount of historical and scientific resources fascinated me. I also loved the music and way in which it was directed and weaved. My fav part was how the scholars were not American origins so their lens was more worldly and not so ethnocentric. Americans think the world resolves around their arrival to this continent. Lol
