Great stories, but mechanical narration; hard to listen to…

I love the stories, but the narration is mechanical and monotonous. I found it difficult and somewhat painful to listen to. Not a good storyteller. I had to take breaks between stories in order to listen to them all. Don’t the authors listen to the people that they have narrate their stories? What a shame.

Terrible narration

This books narrator constantly stumbles over words, pauses at inappropriate times and makes it nearly impossible to decipher the information he is trying to convey. The content seems as if it is being read from Wikipedia. There is a full chapter on the history of cigars and how they are marketed to minors. A complete waste of time and money. Don’t bother!

What disappointed you about Wake Up and Show Up?
Can't stand to listen to the horrible narration on this one! Truly annoying. Like nails on a chalkboard. My fault for not listening to a sample prior to purchasing. Learned my lesson on this one!
