Too slow
Revisado: 03-22-24
The story just sounded like a repeat of others. The narrator on this one was too slow and monotone. I turned up the speed, but it didn’t help. What little character personalities were attempted in the first two books were completely gone in this one. I really tried to finish it, but didn’t.

Predictable end, but an enjoyable journey.
Revisado: 08-04-22
This story’s ending was rather predictable, but the characters and their interactions are worth the trip. It’s a nice book to keep you company when you’re driving or just hanging out. The narrators were believable enough.

Revisado: 08-28-21
The narrator did a good job. The book should have been labeled as a “part 1” or something because it definitely wasn’t a complete story. The end of the book just left me wondering if they accidentally left off the last couple of chapters.

The narrator missed it.
Revisado: 08-30-17
I'm not fond of leaving negative comments, especially since I adore this series, but when Grace dictates her diary entries, she should not sound like she's in her 20s/30s. Also, the Cannonball Island people should not sound Scottish. The narrator changed the whole feel of the book.
