Historia
BE 2.0 is a new and improved version of the book that Jim Collins and Bill Lazier wrote years ago. In BE 2.0, Jim Collins honors his mentor, Bill Lazier, who passed away in 2005, and reexamines the original text of Beyond Entrepreneurship with his 2020 perspective. The book includes the original text of Beyond Entrepreneurship, as well as four new chapters and 15 new essays. BE 2.0 pulls together the key concepts across Collins' 30 years of research into one integrated framework called The Map.

Jim Collin is a great narrator
Revisado: 01-26-23
Jim narrates a portion of the audiobook. He’s great at it! Clear and conversational. Made me look forward to the parts that he narrated the most. Beyond that, the book is a concise and timeless roadmap to building great businesses. I can’t recommend it enough.

Historia
In the first edition of this landmark book, business loyalty guru Fred Reichheld revealed the question most critical to your company’s future: “Would you recommend us to a friend?” By asking customers this question, you identify detractors, who sully your firm’s reputation and readily switch to competitors, and promoters, who generate good profits and true, sustainable growth. You also generate a vital metric: your Net Promoter Score.

Great concept, book too long
Revisado: 03-07-18
Love the concept and the book overall. However it is about 3-4 hours too long. At one point I almost gave up on it as it seemed to drag about 1/2 way in. That said, if you want to learn about NPS (and I suggest you do), it is a very worthwhile listen!

Works wonders for my 5 year old boy
Revisado: 04-17-16
I play this audio for my 5 year old boy as soon as he goes to bed. Before a chapter is half over, he is always sound asleep. Works wonders for my boy.
The author/narrator is from the UK so some of the phrasing and even terms are different than what you would hear in the US and Canada. However in my opinion this is a plus, as the unique voice (to him) has created a positive association that seems to very quickly trigger calm and sleep.

Good message but could do without sales pitch
Revisado: 08-25-15
Great message and way of thinking. Only problem was that author pitched his company and himself so much that I began to think that he was using the book purely as a sales tool. If you can get beyond that, it's well worth a read as it does address a unique method of prioritizing and getting things done effectively.
