good book, not a good reader.

the last several books in this series all interweave in a style that similar to Game of Thrones, only with less violence. overall, a great series.
the narrator chosen for this book has a pleasant enough voice, but he's reading style is irritating at worst and distracting at best. His reading of a dialogue is extremely slow at times, to the point where it seems like there is a period. After. Every. Word. It's unnatural and takes the listener out of the flow of the book because nobody actually talks like that.

overall, well done.

the narrator has a smooth voice and it makes for a very relaxing Reed. It's obvious that he put a lot of effort into trying to make the book sound well. Only criticism is a couple awkwardly pronounce words and some weird breathing points in the middle of sentences.

The awkward inflections and complete lack of difference between character voices made this a tougher listen than it should have been. It felt completely unnatural, and kept pulling me out of the story.

the narrator's on Rhythm while reading distract from the overall story. some of the random parts of the story are unnecessary and feel like filler to meet a page count
