This book helped get back to my roots.

This book helped me rediscover the way I used to eat before I move to the USA from the Dominican Republic.
Rice and beans, plantains, sweet potatoes, yams and root vegetables are an everyday stable.
Most importantly I learn that what I need to eliminate was FATS. I used to love avocados, nuts, olive oil and tofu, but would always gain weight and had no idea why, since I was a healty vegetarian after all???
But I also suffered from inflammation and always had swollen ankles and had no idea why????
Thank you doctor Mcdougall for showing me what I was doing wrong. You saved me from cronic inflammation and from the on and off dieting madness.
