Slow moving Star Wars book

Star Wars mega fan here so it’s tough for me to criticize ….. but this is a verrrrrryyyyy slow progressing book….. rather boring and my least favorite of all the High Republic books to date….
Barely moved the battle along between the Republic & Nihil……. They ‘might’ have figured out a way through the Stormwall by the end…..
Seemed much more interested in promoting woke relationships that getting down to real Star Wars and High Republic nitty gritty…..
C’mon…… do better…..

A great history lesson of the fragile mess to make America

Detailed history, easy to follow, and Brett as the reader made this a great read. All HS students should read this book

Star Wars nerd here and have read/listened to over 90 books…… this would be rated in the bottom on the Star Wars barrel….. Purpose? Story Advance ? What was this all about anyway? Everything occurred in the last 60 minutes. Author knew it was so slow and bad that he had to bring YODA himself into the story to attempt a rescue……. Plus all the ‘wokenes’ thrown into the mix …. Good grief

OK story... if you plan on all 3 books

Pretty much the same as his The Day America Died series.
A few too many WILD stories in this one..... same goes for Book 2 & 3.
If you haven't read PATRIOTS, by James Wesley Rawles, go listen to that for a really good prepper story (even though it's not an EMP)
