Should be required reading for all professionals
Revisado: 12-06-19
This book covers so much and does it in short chapters making it easy to digest and understand. It covered SO MUCH information I found myself thinking... I hope this book doesn't end. 31 hours long and I never found myself bored or uninterested. I never knew there was so much I didn't know... but now I know it! Thank for you creating this audio production!

Possibly the best Physics audio book I own
Revisado: 12-06-19
I really cannot say enough positive things about this book. The book covers Physics in a general scope (Classical Physics) and then it goes into "Modern Physics" in greater detail. I relearned things with greater clarity which helped be grasp Modern Physics theories better than ever before.
My only complaint about this audio book is that it was only 12 hours in length. I was left hungry for more. FEED ME MORE PHYSICS!!!

Story a bit outlandish but a good, fun read
Revisado: 01-29-19
A solidly well written and fun read. The story was a bit insane with a fairly unthinkable plot. Also a little silly how the main character saves the day with the entire naval task force basically sitting around doing nothing.

To make matters worse, Saddam Hussein is close to entering the nuclear arms race - something Israel has vowed to stop. Characters not true to past - Horrible Narration!!
Revisado: 07-13-18
Wow, I have never returned a book for a refund ever... until now. First of all, the narrator or his direction on how to narrate totally ruined this book. EVERY scene seemed to include an argument between two or more characters. It IS possible to disagree without everyone raising their voice!!!!! As a result, the volume levels makes this the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE LISTEN EVER.
Now as for the story. The characters act completely different then in the past books, it really felt like someone else wrote the dialogue. Rapp is nothing like in other stories. His girlfriend is whinny and demanding... nothing like her in previous stories.
I'm also tired of dirty political characters and the inner struggle. Not to say there isn't any in real life but NOT to this level. It's not believable how Vince Flynn has created murderous political rivals.
Overall... I could not finish due to the narration. The story was not good. You can skip this one.

Interesting characters and intriguing story.

I really got into the story... The plot was intriguing and the characters very interesting. My only disappointment was that the book wasn't longer.

Historia
Winter is coming. Such is the stern motto of House Stark, the northernmost of the fiefdoms that owe allegiance to King Robert Baratheon in far-off King's Landing. There Eddard Stark of Winterfell rules in Robert's name. Far to the north, behind the towering Wall, lie savage Wildings and worse - unnatural things relegated to myth during the centuries-long summer, but proving all too real and all too deadly in the turning of the season. Yet a more immediate threat lurks to the south, where Jon Arryn, the Hand of the King, has died under mysterious circumstances....

Is something going to HAPPEN in this story? Ever?
Revisado: 03-06-11
Wow... on a positive note this book is very well written. The author had it in mind to write an Epic tale and he probably can based on how good a writer he is. As for the story... wow, I am bored stiff.
But I am 18 chapters into the story (over three hours of audio) and everything seems to just be character introductions and back story. Nothing has happened yet... absolutely nothing interesting is read at all. Not even any of the back story is exciting.
I am a huge audiobook fan and have over 300 books in my library. I have been listening for over twelve years now. I prefer large scale stories, my favorite genres are Fantasy, Spy, Detective/Crime Adventure, SciFi, and SciFi Opera. I can handle a long saga but THIS book is NOT IT.
So slow I can only recommend this book as a sleep aid.

A real page-turner!
Revisado: 01-11-04
I usually don't take the time to write up reviews for all the books I read but I had to do so for this book. I found the story well written and set at an excellent pace. There was always something interesting going on or just around the next corner (page). The story kept getting more and more interesting with a good amount of suspense along with excitement.
I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Robert Ludlum, Tom Clancy, or Robert Littell.
