Tinaca Jones tells the truth, and it’s not what you expect. She speaks with front porch tones, but she is clearly not planning on living life on any front porch. When someone steals her name, she doesn’t take it lying down. I love this book every time I listen to it.

An accident has happened that makes it impossible.

Someone who can handle really complicated situations is needed. Fortunately, the president knows who to call.

The characters are well-developed and nicely described.

I loved spending time with them in Edenton, North Carolina as they struggled toward happiness.

I love the narrator; I imagine she sounds just Ike Tess

The main character is a clever, thoughtful Northern Irish police detective

I became a fan as soon as Sean Duffy navigated the first big twist in the story, and I was never disappointed as Duffy traveled to England and Finland and back home to find the truth. I was intrigued by the entire cast of characters. Justice is hard to come by, but in the end we do get enough to tide us over until we can read the sequel.
