Good listen

The story line is pretty decent for an isekaid future super soldier and merc. Pavi does a wonderful job with the male characters and is getting better but his deep baritone voice makes it hard for him to give female characters a better experience.

All in all though I would recommend this series for those who love antiheroes and an adult level book without the porn scenes.

Looking forward to another great series

Daniel always weaves such fantastic world building skills that it’s easy to imagine the world in which his vivid characters take part. While there is a heavy subject for the backstory for many of the characters, he is able to address the issues in a manner that doesn’t downplay their seriousness while keeping the story interesting.

Another awesome start

Mr. Schinhoven has definitely outdone himself with the start of this series. Unlike many others who have also provided a great first book and the story tends to die off by the second or third, I have not been disappointed with his work and have purchased all of his books on audible.

When combined with the awesome Andrea Parsneau, this series is going to be another one to follow. The only thing that was left out of this one that makes the other books she has done is my favorite of all of her works: BLOOPERS. Hey Andy where the **** is the bloopers? Even my wife was disappointed that this one didn’t have any.

No brainless harem members

Misty Vixen always has interesting and intelligent female characters in the stories and that’s what keeps drawing me back. While these ladies do become a part of the MC’s harem they don’t just “duh, ok I’m horny” and just jump into his bed. Well some side pieces do but only because the same sex scene over and over gets a little boring and it doesn’t make sense to have three or four women just want to try and then fall in love with every eroticism out there.

Ok. If you’re going to leave it after a big reveal like that then you need to give us a quick release of the next one.

Of course Andrea has the best blooper reels of all. We need more Elsa for her though. I do have one question for her though: what is up with you and the scaly one all of a sudden? It’s funny but it’s not cannon, even if it’s funny as hell.

Seriously when is the narrator coming out with a book of nothing but bloopers?!?!

This is an interesting take on what could’ve been different in history had someone helped the indigenous peoples during the Western Expansion.

Excellent work

There rarely comes a story that balances good storytelling of the characters daily interactions with the right amount of spice to keep you happy.

This is one of them. Definitely worth a listen.

When does the streaming trilogy start?

Not as good as the first one

I don’t care what anyone does romanticly in their own life but just like irl romantic relationships in the office can be a bad idea if you’re displaying it as often as they do in this book. There’s no graphic sex scenes or discussions about bedroom antics but the constant tension between the characters kills the plot for the rest of the book. I hope the shiny new relationship feelings wears off and the next one gets back to the main story that drew me in the first time.
