I like this whole idea of a secret government agent. it's quite the turn from her normal Supernatural writings.

I like the stories but was very disappointed how the characters tie in but each story left you hanging without any real closure of what came to be. I think this would have been so much better with an ending for each of the stories but other than that I enjoyed it as it was a different twist than her Supernatural stuff.

this was a very good book if you're David Spade fan. he elaborates on key points in his life from struggling to be a comedian to getting robbed by his housekeeper to being almost killed by his security guard.

after reading the Sookie Stackhouse novels I branched out to her other series. I fell into this one and absolutely loved the first and second book. Don't get me wrong I know she got famous with True Blood and all the sex and stuff in it which fit into that genre but I liked the fact that the grave series wasn't smutty. however I feel like that took a real bad downturn in the third book when there was quite a few chapters just describing Toliver and Harper having sex and I just feel like all that was unnecessary and cheap-end the book. however with this book it was good overall but I feel it was slow all the way through till just about the very end. and even though it wasn't as descriptive sex in this novel I felt like there was just way too much unnecessary sexual references all throughout the book. I know I'm the minority here but I just felt like it cheapened this very last book because every couple of chapters there was something sexual going on between her and Toliver and then the story to me was very very slow until maybe the last quarter of the book.
